Green Briar Golf Course
Played On 11/22/2022The Robert Trent Jones Golf Trail at Ross Bridge
Played On 03/29/2019Beautiful Course! Challenging But Fun!
Nicest course I've ever played in terms of course conditions. Each green was like a carpet and the fairways rolled nice and long. This is a challenging course, but depending on which tees you shoot from you can have a decent round. I shot from the white tees (2nd ones back) and managed to hit a few pars and even a birdie on a par 5. Very few flat fairways (like most RTJ courses) but I didn't mind. Lots of water too. Would definitely return if I were to get another coupon for a free round, as this course is on the pricey side.
Brook/Graveyard at Bent Brook Golf Course
Played On 09/02/2018Beautiful Course! Will Be Back!
This is course is very well taken care of. Fairways were perfect; greens were very soft (almost too soft). Wide open fairways, only lost 2 balls to the water. Tee boxes need to be marked as far as which hole is which. Kinda confusing. My only complaint is that we decided to take a break after we completed the Graveyard course (front 9). Evidently a group of 6 or so foursomes had a tee time on the Brook course that coincided with when we decided to resume and we had to wait almost an hour, instead of being able to squeeze in when we could. We basically got penalized for taking a break to eat lunch. The staff did make it right and gave each of us a free round for our next trip, so we'll definitely be back!.

Challenging without being impossible. Lots of reachable par 4s. Water coolers on many of the holes, whic is nice when it's hot! Several shots over water too. The only reason this got 4 stars from me was because the bunkers and a few of the greens need some TLC. Will be back for sure. Can't beat $25 during the week.
Highland Park Golf Course
Played On 05/25/2018Love This Course!
First time playing this course. Lots of short par 4s, which I liked. Greens were pretty fast the day we played. Great views of the city, too. Pace of play was extremely slow on the front 9, due to a tournament that was going on during the morning. Would have been nice to have known before I booked the tee time. Took us 3 hours for front 9, 90 minutes for back 9. Staff was super friendly and seemed to know what they ware doing. Shot my lowest score to date here. Will be back!
Mindbreaker/Heartbreaker at Silver Lakes
Played On 03/31/2018Very Challenging Course!
This course kicked my butt. Most holes are uphill. Par 3's are par-able. Don't get me wrong, it's a lot of fun, but it's a very hard course for a person with less than a year of golf-playing under my belt. Most holes are wide open, especially going out and coming in.
Horse Creek Golf Course
Played On 03/27/2018Fun Course - Will Be Back!
This course is pretty challenging, but not impossible. All the par 3's are over a canyon/valley. Lots of water to play over. Nice wide fairways too. Staff is super friendly. Super cheap tournaments every Tuesday and Thursday!
Oaks Golf Club at Oak Mountain State Park
Played On 03/26/2018Second time playing this course. Greens need some TLC; some had bald patches. Several holes had tire tracks where it looked like some people went “mudding” . Will definitely be back later in the season.
White/Blue at Mountain View Golf Course
Played On 01/21/2018Fun Course!
First visit to Mountain View. Challenging without being intimidating. Hopefully the greens will shape up once the weather warms up. Ponds need trash picked out of them; lots of cups and cans in them. Great value. Will definitely be back!
Green Briar Golf Course
Played On 11/24/2017Fun Little Course!
A great confindence builder for the novice golfer. Great value for the money too. Greens are REALLY fast and some had some bare pathces. Tee boxes could use some TLC. Hard to put the tee in the ground on several holes. Will be back!
Ridge at Oxmoor Valley Golf Course
Played On 11/21/2017Love This Course!
I play this course a couple of times a month and its fun and very challenging. The tee boxes and holes are changed frequently so there's always something a little different every time you play! Holes vary from very hilly to straight shots, Only one hole has a water hazard, but that's ok. Grounds crew works hard to keep leaves off the greens this time of year. You can play a full 18 in 2 hours.
Oaks Golf Club at Oak Mountain State Park
Played On 11/10/2017Fun Course, Great Value!
I was paired up with a couple of people since I booked through GolfNow, but that was fine. Relatively flat course, pretty challenging! My only complaint was the greens had leaves all over them, but that’s what I get for playing golf in November.
NIce compact course. Great for beginners and a great place to work on your short game. Friendly staff and always open.
