Timber Creek Golf Course - Sierra Pines
Played On 05/12/2021Still worthy of a try
Course is still in great shape on a day when it was 98 degrees out. Tee to green probably the best shape of any course around. No one on the course and walked at a casual pace the 9 in under 1 hour and 10 minutes. Get a Golfnow hot deal time and play for a great price.

Played On 04/22/2021Gotten better as the weather warms up-Update
The course is getting better and better as the weeks go by. The greens were especially good yesterday after growing in and coming to life. Tee boxes were fine. Some bare patches in the fairways but that is to be expected. Nice job by the course crew. Pace of play was good.

Played On 03/30/2021Needs some water
Course is one of my favorites. Have played here about 5 times in the past month or so. It is already looking a little burned out and in need of a serious watering program. They did crosscut the greens in the last week or so. They already are coming back.
Hope they turn up the sprinklers soon on the course.
Thank you for playing Lincoln Hills and sharing your experience. We appreciate your feedback and look forward to seeing you again.

The course is much better now that the weather has warmed up a bit and the greens have grown in and are not so wet. Tees and fairways are fine. We love holes 8-12, they are what makes LH Hills course so cool. My only minor complaint is that they need to pick different pin placements. If you look around where they place the pins, there are always a lot of old hole locations that have been filled in within a 5-7 foot circle. Other than that we love the course.

Fist time to this course in a few years. The overall layout is really fun, lots of elevation changes. Unfortunately the greens are not nearly as good a shape as the rest of the course.
First time in years where you actually saw spike marks All over the really wet and mushy greens.. Many of the hole placements had a lot of previous hole placements surrounding the playing hole.

If you’re looking to play a fun 9, this is The course. We’ve been here twice in the last month and it’s been in great shape. Pretty wide open but does have its nuances that you need to learn, like the lake on 3. It’s not inexpensive to play as there are a lot more reasonably priced 9’s around. Pace of Play has been fine.

Played On 11/23/2020New sand
Played under 63 degree weather and a sunny day. Course was in good shape with new sand in most of the bunkers. They had rakes on almost all the holes but seems most players are still playing COVID rules and not raking. Tee boxes were fine, greens were really good. Fairways have some dormant spots as usual. All in all good conditions for winter.
Timber Creek Golf Course - Lakes/Oaks
Played On 11/01/2020Great conditions
Course was in good shape. Tee boxes, greens, & fairways were all really good. Probably one of the best conditions right now along with Turkey Creek, Auburn Valley and The Ridge..
Auburn Valley Golf Club
Played On 05/04/2018Beautiful course but really slow play
The course itself is really good, lots of different yardage’s, elevation changes, and beautiful scenery. A few holes have greens that are either diseased or someone spilled fertilizer on them.
The golf staff was really friendly.
Unfortunately we must have caught the tail end of a tournament. We played the first 6 holes in about 1 hour and the final 12 in almost 5 hours. Slowest golfers I’ve ever seen. Like the old saying goes, “ it’s ok to be a bad golfer, just don’t play slow”.
We will definitely come back but will call first to make sure there isn't a tourney that day.

Lots of browned out spots. Typical of summer conditions.. Tees and greens are good.
