Overhyped & Way Overpriced

Listen, this course is good, but it’s nowhere near what they are asking. $280-$325 this weekend?! Stop it. This is the type of course that overcharges for what they are and gives golf a bad name. They also seem to be buying reviews. No way this course rates 5 stars. If that’s the case, these people rating it don’t know what a great golf course is. Smh

Greens have been better!

I always enjoy playing Woodson as it’s a great track in a great location. Overall the course is in good shape, but the greens weren’t the best I have seen it. They were a bit slow and too fuzzy to roll true. I’ve seen it much better, but it was still a fun day!

Why do I keep trying

This course is a mess. Tried playing on Friday. The front 9 tees were all moved up and it was cart path only. Zero notification of this when my buddy called to make the tee time. Their excuse when we complained about being charged $80 for it was, there is notification on the website. Who goes to your website? Went to check the website. Zero notification of any of that on the homepage. What a joke. Learn how to manage a golf course. Will not play here anymore. Course is never worth $80 anyway.

$90 now? Lol

What is it with all the courses raising rates to beyond what they are worth? It's getting ridiculous. This is not a $90 course. Sorry. $70 maybe, but thats it. The course is fun, but there are a few mickey mouse holes and its definitely overpriced.

Very cool track

This golf course is wild, in a good way. Lot's of elevation changes, blind shots, hitting over mountains, into canyons. It pretty much has it all. Fairways were in good shape and so were the greens, considering it is the middle of summer. Its definifely a challenge so I was pretty stoked to start out with 7 straight pars. Unfortunately the sky was smoky due to a fire, so we didn't get to experience it in all of it's glory. Would definitely love to play it again, especially around dusk.

Close to being awesome, but not quite there...

I would really love to give this course a 5 star rating, but they need to work on their greens. They were slow and uneven so they did not roll true. Considering what they are charging for a round, the greens were subpar. It also looked as if they pins haven't moved in a bit as they were over growing a bit into the cup.

Fix your greens Oak Quarry and you'll no doubt be a 5 star course. The layout and routing through the quarry is fantastic. It is a really cool golf course and I loved that part of it. In that aspect it lives up to the hype, but I've seen better greens on $40 muni courses.

Very good course

It seems a lot of SD county courses have raised their rates, but haven't raised their on course standards to justify the prices being charged. Arrowood does not fit into this category. Paid $80 with a cart on a Sunday morning and it was worth it. Overall the course is in very good shape. Some of the greens need a little work, but it's probably being played heavily. If those greens get fixed, I'd easily rate it 5 stars across the board.

Disappointed all around

This review is for current course conditions and would change if they took care of the course better. I have played here over a dozen times and honestly, this is the worst I've seen it. Maybe it's due to Covid, but considering it is tied to Sycuan Casino, you would think this course would be in better shape. As far as Casino courses go, this one is pretty disappointing. Way too much dirt and different types of grasses in the fairways. What's the point of hitting a fairway if you aren't getting good grass in the fairway. It entirely defeats the purpose. Greens are a little over grown, soft and and slow. Bunker sand is terrible. I'd call it somewhat soft dirt. Overall this course has fallen off consideribly. I would NOT pay for anything other than a twilight rate here. Step your game up Sycuan.

Starting to get Disappointed

For awhile this was one of my favorite courses to play every Sunday, but the course conditions seem to be going downhill. I know they are putting some money into it, but for what they are charging during prime hours, this course isn't even close to worth being charged that much. Enagic Management; You need to step your game up because at this point, you are stealing people's money.
