After the replacement of greens and tees, the course is in amazing shape. Great layout. One of the best golf courses in the Bradenton area.

The course could be a good one, but the greens, tees, and fairways need work.

Plenty of water and lots of woods. Good course if you can keep it in the fairway. Greens are in good shape

I played here many times and of course is generally always in good shape.

Course was not well maintained over all. Bunkers were in rough shape and much of the rough was very high and unkept

Nice layout ...the greens were very challenging They were very undulating and fast....a real Augusta like experience.

I played this course several years ago, and by comparison, the course condition has deteriorated. The greens were only "fair" with many weeks/crabgrass growing in them. The tees were ragged. The fairways were fine, but many of the bunkers needed maintenance. My biggest issue was there was NO DRINKING WATER on the back nine. It was 90+ degrees and all water jugs were empty...not acceptable!!!

First the good news. The greens are in decent shape, and the bunkers were well kept. That's about where it ends. The clubhouse is extremely run down. The bathrooms on the the course are disgusting. There was no drink cart...and most of the water jugs were empty on the back nine. The pace of play was extremely slow. An "Ambassador" rides around in a golf cart and waves to everybody as he passes....no comments on him keeping the groups moving along. The Ambassador simply drove by, waved, and said "beautiful day". I guess pace of play is not his responsibility. So, overall, the course is fair, the facilities are falling apart, and the pace of play is not monitored. The driving range is a dirt pit. I'll be crossing this course off my list.

Tees were poor. Greens fair at best. Fairways sparse. Holes too close together. Pedestrian.

This course is really a county-time municipal course masquerading as a country club. No one put our bags on a cart. We had to find a cart ourselves. There was no food available after 4pm...not even a hot dog. The greens were in very poor shape.
Not worth the money.

This course has some very challenging holes, and the pace of play was very slow. The "Player Assistants" didn't do much to speed play. Also some of the folks in front of us with obvious >20+ handicaps should not have been permitted to play from the championship tees. Overall the facilities are great and the course was in good shape. It was just frustrating to wait on EVERY hole.

Clubhouse: Small and somewhat unremarkable. The table next to ours had difficulty getting their food, as there seemed to be confusion in the kitchen. Also the grill closes at 4:00pm.

On-course amenities: Their was a roving drinks cart, but somehow the driver never managed to make it to our group. It was later in the afternoon, and we did see her twice, but she drove by in the distance without stopping.

Course. The MANY waste bunkers make for a visually appealing landscape. Unfortunately there were not true sand traps (with soft, powdery sand) at all on the course. ALL bunkers are waste bunkers where you can ground the club...even by the greens. It would have been nice to have actual sand traps by the greens, with waste bunkers in the fairways only.

Condition. I assume, due to the very rainy summer, that there's not been an opportunity to condition the waste bunkers as most had significant erosion, and were in need of maintenance. The greens were in good condition, as were the tees and fairways.

Overall, a good golfing experience...but not a five-star level.

Overall, the course was in good shape and has some very interesting and challenging holes. The price was definitely right, and it was a pleasurable experience.

Overall a good experience. I've played here before, and I've seen the greens in better shape. The bunkers also need more sand. Layout is challenging.
