Enjoyed the day.

The carts are new, but the seats are cramped for two medium build men. I've never experienced that with a golf cart.

The course was well maintained. Greens and fairways were in great shape. Two days of heavy rain, including the morning of had left some puddles along the way. But the sandy soil helps the course drain very well.

First time having played it after watching it from the road many times. I will now make it a regular stop on my "2er".

My wife and I are both coming back from injuries/surgery, and wanted to ease back in not knowing if we'd even be able even finish. Golf conditions were good. Some of the greens were a little fuzzy (slow).

We'd had breakfast here two years ago with view of course, and had always wanted to come back to play here. Great breakfast and golf. We'll be back soon for both fer sure.

The bag boys were courteous, pleasant (espec. Jason). The starters Rick & Tom helpful and pleasant. Cart girl and pro shop were nice.

No problems on a perfect day.

Oh, there was one glitch, the cart GPS' were not accurate. That is they showed wrong pin placements. I asked groups in front and behind and they recognized the same problem. I alerted the player assistant (Rick), and he checked with pro shop. It was the first they had heard of it. Evidently it was that way all day. Rick was surprised nobody in the MGA didn't mention it.

Great value. Pleasant staff, nice track. Been wanting to play it for sometime. I've been missing out. We'll definitely it play again.

Better-than-expected on all fronts.

First time I'd played either course. I played the Padre it was in great condition staff was cheerful.

A very friendly staff. From greeting and friendly smile of the cart attendant, to pro shop staff's smile and unsolicited clues on course conditions/tips, to Victor (starter) who was pleasant & professional. On course restrooms were clean.

No on course refreshments. At the turn nobody to help with refreshments in grill room. Had to seek out help there. It took about 12 minutes to get two beers (which BTW were reasonably priced). Group behind us were then waiting on us :(

Played in just a little over four hours.

Greens were slow/"fuzzy". I know it is early in the season and they'll get faster.

I just hate it when people do not fix ball marks on the greens, or fix their divots, or not rake the bunkers.

I would not pay the regular guest fee $70-100 at this course for the condition.
