We arried it was sprinkling. We went in for lunch to wait it out. Lunch was good, staff was very friendly.
Rain never stopped so we had the track to ourselves most of the day. My daughter had a great time even though we were soaked. The cartpaths neef a little attention they were rocky. But hey your on a mountain with great views. We made the best of it. I would definitely play here again next year when we return to NH for the races.

We had a twosome behind us that we weren't able to let through because there were foursomes everywhere. We felt bad but they weren't going to move any faster.

I was able to 1 putt 6 of 9 greens. Something that I would like to do more often. I was very happy with the staff. Friendly and courteous. The girl came and took my cart back without asking. I turned around and there she was with a big smile and wished me a good rest of the day.

We booked it for 18 holes. My GPS got brain dead as we got close , we had to call the pro shop for directions AGAIN! This happened before I should have known. We were late. We were able to play 9 holes before a shotgun tournament started. They were very accommodating and gave us a rain check. I told them we might not be back til nxt year after Nascar races. They said no problem. My daughter really likes this course it is very kid friendly. The views are to die for. Absolutely fabulous. We definitely will play here again! !!

We arrived early and we're able to get an open tee time. This course was always on my list to play. I'm glad we booked it! The staff were very helpful and friendly. I like the layout and greens were in great condition. We come up for Nascar twice a year and will include 18 holes!

When I arrived to the course I was confused. There was a ladies outing. I wasn't sure if I was gonna get out. I went into the club house to see Anne checking at least 15 ladies in. I went out to the deck to check the layout. Anne came out and asked me if I was golfing? I said I had a tee time but was not aware of the outing. She said not to worry and grab a cart. She was able to get me out right away. It did take a little longer than 2 hrs to play 9 holes. That maybe due to not knowing the course. There are a few blind shots. I recommend driving up to see the holes first. Anne was great!!! Course is very short.

We were greeted with a warm welcome from friendly Pro shop attendant Jim. He gave my daughter a resees cup and was more than courteous. I would hope that they keep him around as he brightened up our day.

When we arrived we were ready to play. The starter was able to let us "Load n Go" we had a foursome in front of us that we caught up with early. This slowed us down considering we were a 2some and they never offered to let us play thru. However we decided to pair up on 10 with a couple of great guys.

Portland is a well kept track. The greens were beautiful and true. Fairways were cut that morning and the rough was just deep enough to find your balls. We had lunch and were satisfied with the service. Play here if you can !

The greens were awesome, however the tee boxes and fairways need attention. We stopped on our way home from NH to squeeze one last round and found it was deep in the country. All in all it was a good course, friendly staff and easy for my daughter.

The grounds crew were on top of the leaf situation. we had no issues with this fall round. Staff was friendly and courteous.

I was very disappointed with the conditions. Fairways were in terrible shape along with many of the greens. How they can call this a "Country Club" is beyond me. We won't be going back anytime soon!

I couldn't resist the $12 tee time... Course was nice, Starter was put-off.. sums it up

When I arrived Eric was more that helpful. I explained that I would be on call as my wife was having a procedure done. As it turned out I only completed 2 holes before I got a call from the hospital. Eric was very understanding and issued me a rain check for the next time I could play...Thanks for hiring such a friendly guy...

If it weren't for the cheap price on Golfnow, I would have passed. I arrived to find nobody around. 2 cars in the lot. I thought the course was closed. However I had the place to myself. The front nine was being aerated so I had to play the back twice. No staff to be seen on the course. Skeleton crew must be the only ones maintaining this once former Willimantic CC. Sad to see a great course go to the wayside.

Had a great time at Gilead Highlands (Blackledge sister course) The only problem was the greens need to be cut. The balls were rolling very slow...Other than that it was in good condition.

My daughter and I played this course last Sunday. The gentleman in the club house was very friendly. He was more than happy to accommodate us as we arrived late because of traffic. The course is a great place to take a beginner golfer. It is a par 3 very easy for my daughter. She had a blast! Thanks

The greens need attention along with cart paths. plan on at least 4 1/2 hrs as it gets a lot of play

Overall this is a nice little course. There is a lot of tree line tee shots, so you better be straight, The staff was one of the friendliest I have dealt with. Fairways need a little attention. I recommend this course for your average golfer.
