Orange Tree Golf & Conference Resort
Played On 01/31/2021Disappointing
I’ve wanted to play this course for quite a while, but was terribly disappointed. The tee boxes were tore up and some were crowned. I realize it had reined recently, but the fairways were lacking grass and patchy in many places. The entire property is flat. They didn't move much dirt to create any interesting undulation. Every, literally every, green was bunkered front left and right. This makes it unpleasant for the lady golfers who rely on running the ball up (BTW, our wives are 10 and 13 handicappers, better than most women). The sand in the bunkers was inconsistent, crunchy in places, deep in others, lacking sand in others. I was also disappointed by the prickly bushes in several areas. A mature resort course should have this cleaned up by now. Finally, the layout was boring. Not many interesting holes besides 9 and 18. The only highlight was my friend’s wife aced #12!
Aguila Golf Course
Played On 01/14/2021Great course design
For a muni, this course has a ton of interesting holes. Short, strategic par fours and long, demanding par fours in addition to some challenging par threes. Conditions were very good. Ball checked up and greens fairly fast. Plenty of room to spray it on most holes. We played gold tees due to recent surgery. Can’t wait to play from silver and possibly black tees. I will certainly go back although it is 45 minutes from my house.
Revere Golf Club - Lexington Course
Played On 02/28/2020Spectacular layout!
We absolutely loved the course and layout. 18 unique holes with fabulous views of the valley and Strip. But, the tee boxes need some work and the greens were pock marked. We got an afternoon rate so appreciate the positives the course has to offer. Would certainly go back for that price.
