I have played this course since it has originally opened. It was always in perfect shape. Once the new clubhouse was built, either they ran out of money or interest in the golf course. Bulldoze the club house, bring back the old trailer and bring this course back to what it once was. If your goal is to play the worst maintained course in Brevard county, there is no doubt this is the course you want to be at.The Greens are either dirt, or the few that had grass on them were like putting on a fairway. The fairways were mostly hardpan dirt, very little grass. The rough was mostly dead grass/weeds. I fertilize my yard once a year and it's in much better shape than anything on this course. At this point they should just shut it down or sell it to someone who wants/knows how to maintain a golf course. We will not be back unless things drastically change in a good way. If I were Golfnow, I would be pulling this course from your site, all they are doing is making customers angry that they were fooled into playing this goat track.

I have played this course for over 10 years and have never seen it in this bad of condition. Usually you can't get in the parking lot and this day we pulled in and were surprised when we saw very few cars in the lot. Upon hitting our tee shots, we realized why no one was there. The Tee boxes are rock hard and the fairways have been taken over by crab grass. The greens are great, but extremely slow. I'm not sure what happened to this course, but if I lived in Cocoa Beach and my tax dollars were going here I would not be happy with the conditions. Maybe the city is going to bulldoze it and build another parking garage? I'm not really sure of what is going on here except I won't be coming back and don't recommend anyone that actually plays golf to come here.

this course was in great overthe winter but something has gone wrong. fairways are full of weeds and bare spots. Greens had alot of bear spots and had to bethe slowestgreens I have ever played. staff was great but course is terrible compared to a couple months ago.

I have played this course hundreds of times over the years and I will say it is always in great shape. Unfortunately this Thanksgiving we were treated as though they didn't care if we came back again.
The day started off with our tee time being behind about 5 minutes which was no big deal. We knew it was going to be a slow round as we watched the foursomes in front of us have alot of trouble just on the first hole which is one of the easiest on the course. The pace was slow but not unbearable. The ranger came around twice on the front nine to ask how things were going and we told him slow. He let us know that it was a holiday and we were not behind on time so there was nothing he could do. On hole 12 the ranger came by and let us know that he told the foursome in front of us to pick up the pace which they did moderately. By the 15th hole the ranger was coming by to tell us that the clubhouse was having everyone start skipping holes so they could go home for Thanksgiving. The smart thing would be for a course to not book tee times on Thanksgiving if you don't want to be there on a holiday. At the time we were notified to start skipping holes we were on pace to be finished in 4 hrs 15 minutes which is very normal for this course. I have been here on Sundays and had to wait on every shot to a tune of a 5 hour round. We were unhappy to say the least. The kicker is that GolfNow basically told us we could have a promo code for Monday-Thursday golf which is basically giving us nothing as we work M-F unless there is a bank Holiday.

I have been playing this course since it has opened and I have never seen it in this poor of shape. The fairways and greens are dead. It's almost as if they sprayed something on the course to kill the grass. I'm not sure where the people are playing that are reviewing this course saying it's in good shape. It's a great layout, but conditions are awful. I don't think I will be back unless they drop the rates to the $15 range. It's that bad. If you ever played here in the last few years, don't go now or you will be very disappointed. Hopefully whatever is going on here will be fixed because it's an amazing course when it's playable.

Course was in good shape, pace was great. Got done in 3 hours, Greens good, fairways a little rough, but happy with the round.

Baytree is in pretty good shape. Greens had a few bad spots and were slow compared to the last time I was here. The biggest disappointment here was the bunkers. Bunkers are in bad shape for the most part.

Greens were good. The good stopped there. Fairways are thin and dry. I would advise anyone playing to call before you play this course. They book rounds when they have tournaments. We showed for our tee time and were informed their tournament before our tee time was running about 40 minutes late and they would get us out when they could. They had no carts for the tee times they booked because they were all being used by the tourny. We were told by the guys in the clubhouse as soon as we got a cart, it would be a shotgun start so everyone didn't pile up on the first tee. We were informed by the cart guys that the group booked 15 minutes before out twosome tee time was a group of 24 players. How do you justify booking a group of 24 elderly players, then book a twosome 15 minutes later? We had to argue with the cart guys to get the to send us out on the back nine as they were trying to put us behind the group of 24. I live 7 minutes fro this course, I will drive 2 hours before I play here. Overpriced, in bad shape and don't care about their customers. Anyone giving this place a good review must not be playing in Orlando or south of Brevard county because the rates are cheaper, courses are in better shape and you are treated better as a player if you go out of the county.

This course is coming back around after Integrity Golf had nearly destroyed it. The amenities are still non exhistent, but the course was good. The only real drawback was that we ran into a group of 6 players out there, which is going to happen when there is no marshal. The carts also need work as both the carts in our group had zero brakes. I can deal with that if the course is good.

Let me first say that many times when playing a course using Golfnow Hot Deal, I have been treated like a second rate citizen. This course was just the opposite. We were welcomed and treated better than just about any course i have been to in the last 5 years. the staff went out of their way to make sure we had a great time and even sent us out on 10 so that we wouldn't be stuck behind a slower group. then when we were coming off the 18th green, held the first tee for us so we could be ahead of a slow foursome. They were all pleasant and happy,. It's over an hour drive for us, but we will play here before some of our local courses that are 10 minutes from our house.

I'm not sure how people are giving good reviews for this course. The greens are excellent, everything else is poor. The fairways are DEAD. They look like they haven't been watered in a month. I know we are lacking rain this year, but the courses in Orlando are having no problems keeping their fairways watered and green. Many of our shots were hit from the center of the fairway lying in either completely dead grass or worse, dirt. The greens are great, but not enough to bring me back unless it's a last minute $10 round. Also, 5 hours to play? Come on. We started at 2:30 and barely finished. Get a ranger out there, which they did have a guy driving around in a ranger cart, but when you say something about the pace, he just shrugs his shoulders. Brevard county golf is in a sad state of affairs. Overpriced and under delivered. I'll be driving to Orlando to play better courses in better shape for less money this summer.

I have played this course for years and it has always been perfect,
even after aerating. This year they left Troon and went with a new managing company. Not a good move. The amenities have been taken away, and the course is not in good shape compared to previous years. Our round was booked as all you can play with lunch. When we arrived, we were informed that the round was pushed back an hour because they accidently booked too many rounds. They offered a discounted rate plus lunch. Well, our deal already came with lunch, so that was no help. We also wanted to play more than one round, thus the all you can play. After 16 holes in 95+ degrees without seeing a beverage cart we decided 18 holes was enough. When we confronted the staff about the lack of beverages, they told us there are several water coolers on the course, which there are. the one thing they forgot was a little thing called a cup, I assume we are to cup our hands together to drink from the water coolers. They said they didn't know there were no cups on the course, but we know that is a lie because several other golfers said they told the staff and they were told they had no cups for the coolers. I guess it was the first time managing a golf course. needless to say, we won't be back until this management company is gone. I feel for the people who live in the community because there is nothing else there besides the course. When it is gone, their houses will be worthless.

They have been building a monstrosity of a club house for a ridiculous amount of time at this course. I have been playing here for years and have been hearing about it for nearly the entire time. It is nearly done and apparently they have put every dime into it instead of the course. the course conditions went from a 9.5 to a 2 in the last year. Greens are burnt out, fairways not good and the rough is like a cow pasture. They had a lovely cart girl. That may be the only reason I ever go back here again. It's a shame. this place went from one of the best in the county to one of the worst.

Nothing bad to say about this course. Everything was good.

Course in decent shape. 3 - 9 hole tracks except they cram all 18 hole players onto 2 of the tracks. The other track is sitting there practically empty while you have 3 and 4 groups on each hole of the other two tracks. We played at noon, and had a twosome in front of us that was a guy and his 7year old son, a twosme in front of them that thought they could it the ball 400 yards, but couldn't it 150 yards on top of the 5 some in front of them. No ranger, even though we played there week ago and there was a ranger coming by every 15 minutes. Greens were ok, but recently punched. Sand is non exhistent. More like hitting out of gravel bunckers. It's a fun course, but just can't deal with it taking 5 hours to play a short course, especially when there is another 9 holes that you can use to solve the problem.

I have been playing this course for many years and in the last few it has been going down hill. The greens are in good condition, but the fairways and fringe is full of weeds and bare ground. It's a shame, it was a beautiful course five years ago. If you can play cheap, it's worth it, but if you have to pay full price, play somewhere else.

course was fun. Slow threesome in front of us slowed the pace. The only downside was No outside beverages allowed, but no beverage cart or refreshment facilities on course in 90 plus degrees with 95% humidity, not real smart.

Course is fun and challenging. Fairways need a little work, but greens were great.
