Kokopelli Golf Course
Played On 02/27/2023Kokopelli
First a frost delay. Then delays on every hole. This is golf in Arizona from Feb-April. Sand traps are atrocious-pulled ball out of every one. Other players stated same thing.
I did notice the massive increase in pricing EVERYWHERE. A lot of gouging going on in Phoenix area. Many people I spoke with said same thing-Not happy.
Mountain Brook Golf Club
Played On 02/25/2023Nice views and great greens.
Even though we payed the Twilight rate, still pricey. Did not finish..15 of 18 only. Arizona has increased their prices this year.
Mountain Brook Golf Club
Played On 02/25/2023Beautiful views and greens were excellent.
Mountainbrook is a great course for all skill levels. Many people in the Phoenix area are very disappointed at the rise in tee time prices and in some cases gouging that was occurring. The price I paid was a twilight rate and did not finish (15 holes)
This has always been the case from Feb-April in Arizona, but this year was extremely noticable...Too bad.
Desert Sands Golf Course
Played On 10/28/2013Challenging greens
Desert Sands is a short par 65 course with a few reachable par 4's.
It is a shorter course designed for all skill levels with the challenge coming from the sloped greens.
It offers good value and rounds can be completed in 3-4 hours.
Twin Willows Golf Club
Played On 09/13/2013Challenging back nine
Twin Willows is a course that is progressively getting more expensive. At one time, it was very reasonable to golf there, but now the prices are getting quite high for what is offered. 30.00 to walk 9 holes is a little much.
Saying all that however, I did receive a great deal on Golf Now. The front nine is mature and very fair for beginner golfers. The back nine is longer and more challenging as the rough is very unforgiving. You wont find your ball if you hit it in the thick rough.
Overall, a decent course for all levels located in a convenient location.
Raven Crest Golf and Country Club
Played On 07/31/2013Good Value
Raven Crest is a course that offers good value in a market where golf has a very short season.
There are 2 or 3 holes with narrow fairways, but overall, it is a very fair and wide open golf course.
Golf Now price was very good!
Superstition Springs Golf Club
Played On 2/19/2013Nice golf course
Superstition Springs offers a challenge for all golfers as there are various tee boxes for every level. It is one of my favorite courses in the Mesa area. I do think that charging each golfer 3.00 for using the GPS system is kind of cheesy, but usually you can find a decent deal on 'golf now' which helps ease this cost. There are some challenging holes, but if you play smart golf, this course will treat you well. Overall, a nice place to play.
Ahwatukee Country Club
Played On 2/12/2013good value
The course offers great value during the busiest months in the Phoenix area. The course is challenging enough for golfers of all levels. It offers large mature trees in an older area. There are some areas that require a little more maintenance or attention..i.e. a few of the greens and sand traps, but overall, a really good course for the price.
The Links Golf Club At Queen Creek
Played On 2/10/2013Good value
This course is in good shape with lots of mature trees.
Scoring should be low if you hit the ball straight. There are some shorter par 4's that are reachable with a great drive.
The greens were in great shape and overall, you get good value for your dollar.
Apache Creek Golf Club
Played On 09/15/2012Lots of sandy/hard pan areas
Decent course for the price. Bring a club that you don't mind scratching up. You will be hitting from sandy/ hard pan alot, unless you hit it very straight.
Thank you for the constructive criticism, and sorry we couldn’t make it a 5 star experience. We’ll use this as a learning experience as to how we can improve.
