Nicely laid out executive course. Very little water. Greens need a lot of work, but good course if you are looking to practice your short game.

Nice short course. My wife liked it because there was no water in play. A few of the greens and tee boxes could use some work, but overall quite satisfied with the maintenance. Will play again when we are down here on vacation.

Challenging course layout with water on a number of the holes. Some greens need a fair bit of work, but still puttable. Pace was somewhat slow due to two groups of slow players ahead of us and no marshall to speed things up. Would definitely play again though.

My wife and I played the Deer Run course which was in good shape, with only a few greens needing a little attention. My wife played the Aqua tees which really suited her game. Will definitely play again when in the area.

My wife and I play this course every time we are in the area. Mainly par 3's. Short holes for the women, challenging distances for the men from the green tees, especially in windy conditions. No amenities / beverage cart on the Ridge course, so bring your own beverages. Greens were okay, but tee boxes, sand traps and fairways need work. Good courses for practicing your short game and you cannot beat the price. Will play here again.

Good for women that do not hit very long and challenging par threes for the men. Course is well laid out, fairways and tee boxes are OK not great. It was the busiest we have ever seen and no starter to ensure players go off on their respective tee times. Extremely slow play, but probably due to the fact that everybody wanted to play during the warmest time of the day. Would definitely play again.

Fairways were a little rough and bare, but drives rolled well. A couple of greens were in poor shape, but most were puttable. Nice course layout. It was mine and my wife's first round of the season and we really just wanted to get the kinks out, so the course was OK for us and the price was right. Would play again.

It had rained heavily the previous day so the course still had several wet spots, including the sand traps. About half the greens were in poor shape, but still puttable. Challenging layout, with trees lining all holes. Second time playing the course and will play again the next time in Myrtle Beach.

We played the Orange Lake - Reserve course three weeks ago and were not impressed at all. We got a Hot Deal rate ($19) to play the Legends course and were extremely pleased with the condition of this course. Fairways and greens were in good shape. Pace of play was excellent, but that may have been due to the 32C/90F temperature. I find most courses challenging, but this one is well laid out and would be a good test for a better golfer. Would play again.

The course has shown decline over the past two years since it was sold by the Holiday Inn group. Rough spots on many of the greens and bare patches on most fairways, which were very hard. I only paid $15 (Hot Deal) and thought that was too much. I stay at the resort, but will not play there again.

Challenging course, 95% of greens in great shape. Lots of interesting holes, with water in play on a number of them. I have played this course a number of times and there almost always is a little wind to make the shots a little more difficult. I usually shoot in the 90's and lose a few balls, but still like the course.

The course is wide open and relatively flat. Nice layout and just the right length for myself (white tees) and my wife. Fairways and greens were in good conditions, though greens slow. Hot afternoon and the course was not busy. One threesome let us play through and no one in front of us. Played in 3 1/2 hrs. No course marshals or beverage cart but you can call ahead at hole 8. Would definitely play again.

Short course, which challenges your short game. Fairways and greens were well maintained. Sand traps in good condition. Only issue is slow play. Better to play in the afternoon. Although it would be hotter, pace would probably be better.

Course was in very good condition for this time of year. Course was not overly long, but challenging. You need a good short game to score well. Play was slow, but we have not played the course before, so not sure that this was the norm.
