Mill Creek revisited

Hadn't been since the floods of 2009 and 2010 when the creek demolished the holes along the creek. Course is now comprised of a hodgepodge of the original RTJ design and the newer 9 holes. Kind of rough shape right now, but lots of mowing and work going on. Lots of topography adds some interest. But you're kind of blind because no garmin due to reroute of holes. Could be an ok course if they continue improvements. Has a par three on back nine that is under a couple of dozen high power transmission lines, making a golf shot impossible.
Overall, More good holes than bad. Staff is trying hard, reasonable ice cold refreshments, and they'll rent you a cooler.
I'll probably revisit in a year or two and see how it has evolved

Outstanding vistas

Hard to complain about a course in such a pristine setting. Not long, but you need to be in the fairway. Rough was long and a bit wet from recent rains. Greens challenging but a little slow.
They're going back to private in a couple of weeks, but if you're in Sedona, you gotta find a way yo play it. Bring your camera.
