North at Randolph Golf Course
Played On 12/28/2023Need Marshall’s!!
The pace of play was completely unacceptable and after advising the staff of the issue they did nothing. The group in front of us played 3 balls every shot including putting! We spoke to them several times and they said unless someone from the course talks to them they were going to keep playing that way. After the game I spoke with the staff again and they said there was a Marshall on the course which was not true. Most frustrating day of golf we have had!

Lots of fun - front 9 is wide open & back 9 is tighter and more difficult. Staff were great particularly as they had to deal with the Country wide Rogers outage.

First round at Mountainview since last April and was very surprised and disappointed with the course conditions. The entire course (T-Boxes, Fairways and Greens) are extremely dry. Had to drive the Golf Cart slowly as the dry grass flys up and into the cart, clothes, eyes, etc. Most frustrating was the greens. Dry, hard and extremely fast! Approach shots landing on the green simply would not hold. It was like putting on a pool table or pavement. Very nice layout with exceptionally friendly staff however it pales in comparison to Saddlebrooke Ranch. They are going to have to start irrigating as a once nice course is on the verge of becoming a cow pasture. Very Sad...

Nice playable course - greens are in rough shape - pace of play was very good as it was cold that day. Back 9 is much more interesting than the front. Worth the drive!!
The Club at Starr Pass - Rattler/Coyote
Played On 11/17/2020Excellent as Always
Staff are friendly and efficient. Marshall was informative and funny. It was cart path only Due to overseeding and it would have been nice to know that when booking??? No off course amenities due to Covid. Beverage Cart quit at 1:30 just after we started the round so it got thirsty out there. Lots of fun on a very interesting and well groomed course. Highly recommended!

Played On 11/11/2020Great Day
Very nice round of golf. Pace of play was slow ( they only have 7 mins between t-times) and most golfers were elderly. Front 9 was in exceptional shape and much easier than the back 9. The greens on the back are in poor condition and much slower than the front. All in all a very good track that is worth the drive.
Quarry Pines Golf Club
Played On 03/22/2018Great Course - terribly slow play - no Marshall’s
Long long long afternoon/evening on the course. Advised the staff after the round how slow it was and they replied; “ we hear that all the time and we tell them but nothing ever changes” Management; Slow Golf is No Fun!!! We did have (AMPLE) time to entertain a roadrunner...
The Golf Club at Dove Mountain - Saguaro/Tortolita
Played On 03/09/2018Nice Course - extremely slow play ,
Very nice course and amenities - No Marshall’s to address the extremely slow play -,waited on every hole and when finally finished the restaurant required a reservation to have a post round drink. Otherwise would play there again and make a reservation for when you hope the round ends...

Played On 03/05/2018Underwhelming
This course does not compare to its sister courses at Robson Resorts. The front 9 is basic and unattractive. The back 9 is so much better and is what would bring you back. They should also offer rain checks when their is a wind warning out. On the 9th hole the spray from the fountain made putting impossible. After 9mwe sled for a rain check and were told only lighting would they offer rain checks. It’s not that a good of course
The Club at Starr Pass - Rattler/Coyote
Played On 02/26/2018Always Superb
Excellent from start to finish. The Rattler is very challenging if you are higher than a 14 handicap. (my humble opinion) it is the nicest course for $ in Tucson. After a round you have to try a the brisket burnt ends as they are amazing. Had a visit from a young Road Runner who laughed at my Tee-Shot!!!
Crooked Tree Golf Course
Played On 02/22/2018Great Value
Nice course for price. Greens are very consistent and fairways are well kept. There was a frost delay so very busy but the pace was reasonable.
Preserve Golf Course
Played On 02/14/2018Beautiful course and surroundings
All aspects of the round and day was positive. Only recommendation is the elderly female host to the lounge/restaurant be reminded to be more friendly and welcoming to golfers after a round.
Forty-Niner Country Club
Played On 02/07/2018Terrible
Greens are like cement, roughs are just dirt and dead grass, pace of play slow and no Marshall’s taking action. Worst course we have golfed in Tucson and the green fees charged for this cow pasture is criminal. Go anywhere but this course...
Hi Mr. McMillan. I am very sorry you had a bad experience a couple weeks ago, we always hate to hear that! How long was your round that day? As it is our busy season, we do usually average 415-430 rounds. Our greens are firm and fast in the winter, just how we like them!! We do not overseed our roughs, so like most courses in Tucson in the winter, our roughs are dormant bermuda grass, giving the appearance of dead grass. The $39 rate you paid is a very fair rate for Tucson golf on February 7th at 1130am. You are correct we did not have a marshall that day, sorry if you experienced slow play. I truly wish you would have reached out to our staff the day of, or after your experience so we could've helped it be a better day. Wish you the best, Regards

Would be nice if they offered rain checks. Started pouring on the 7th and we returned to the clubhouse however was advised they don't offer rain checks.
The Club at Starr Pass - Rattler/Coyote
Played On 12/27/2015Outstanding course
Course was in amazing shape; pace of play was excellent ( was not pushed and did not have to wait; we let a single go thru) The pro shop attendant and starter was very friendly and accommodating. Love this course and will make a point to visit as often as we can...
Thank you for playing your recent round at Quarry Pines Golf Club.
I wanted to assure you that our management team does focus on maintaining an expectable pace of play for each of our guests everyday. Some of the practices we currently use to improve pace of play include a daily ranger along with a log in the golf shop which we use to track hourly turn and finish times in an effort to inform ranger of areas to focus attention. In addition we place multiple starter times on our tee sheet used to space out groups in typically busier times each day.
We appreciate you taking the time to post your experience and will continue to intergrade additional practices in an effort to improve our guest experience daily.
