First time I've played Shirley and definitely not the last, we had a novice in our 3 ball who is just starting out in the game, so were a bit slow, but NO moans as we let players through when needed. Lovely layout, easy to get too off M42 and friendly welcome in pro shop. Didn't have food but all facilities looked good, played it to my handicap 15 so that helped make it enjoyable

The corse was empty from 9:30 till 11:00 when the prices start to drop, then just a constant que at every tee, the breakfast menu was shocking, no full breakfast available, the best you could get was a bacon and sausage bap for £4:50 that just had 1 small sausage cut in half and 1 rasher of bacon, never enough to get you round 18 holes, staff friendly as ever, but need to review marketing times & food menu
