I would give the course 4.2 stars. Everything was pretty good. Greens a little sandy in spots.

I've played the course through the years and it's definitely been in better shape. Fairways are sparse with some bare spots. It's a $40.00-$50.00 course at best.

Course conditions were better than expected. Over-seed seems to be taking well. Amenities are extremely poor. Rest rooms out of order/ poor staffing on one of busiest days of the year. No liquor license, and nobody thought to stock up beer / seltzers to get them through holiday weekend. All indicators point to poor management.

I remember this course in its prime. Today, I feel they may have lost this course completely. Fairways and rough infested with crab grass. The layout has always been good, but the course is a mess. I understand new management has purchased course. I assume they will be ripping all grass out.

I truly enjoy the layout of the course, but course conditions are rough. Greens need help. In some cases, it was painted sand. Two many comparable options that have good greens.

One of the greenest courses in all of Tampa/ Orlando. Staff is doing a great job with keeping water on the course through current drought. Highly recommend this course.

This course has always been enjoyable to play. With that said, it is a middle of the road course. Fairway lies are very thin, and new greens are rock hard. Looks like minimal money was put into any type of over seeding. No beverage cart, and poor service in the lounge. With proper management this course could be the gem of SunCity.

Pace of play has always been the issue I’ve had with this course. The presence of a ranger was a pleasant surprise. Find a way to keep the cart girl and Ranger in place year round, and I will be playing there more often.. course conditions were good, but greens could always be faster.
Ranger an bev cart are on course 7 days per week from November through april, and weekends off season. 100% committed to our customers experience. Friendliest staff in town, great prices, great conditions.

I have to believe that the good reviews on this course were fabricated. Course conditions were horrible. . Rough is 50+ percent weeds. No management on course, and expensive drinks. Find another spot.

Always been a good course, but the amenities are weak at best. More focus on their food and beverage Would help this club.

The greens at Club Renaissance will get your complete attention. Some of the fastest I’ve played this year. Rest of course is in good shape. I will be back.
Thanks for the review. We are transitioning from winter rye to summer Bermuda. Requires some verticutting and top dressing. Will be great all summer long with proper maintenance. Tony
