Staff among the friendliest anywhere. Tee boxes were in good shape. Greens were in excellent condition. They are working hard to get their fairways back after Ian ruined them. This course and staff deserve our support to recover and ensure that there are golf options on Sanibel Island.

I was pleasantly surprised by what a nice course this is. From layout to conditions I truly enjoyed my round.

Due to cooler than usual temperatures the course hadn't fully started to come out of winter conditions. The exception--the greens. They were in excellent condition and putted true.

Spanish Wells is a nice course. We played in the afternoon after a steady morning rain. Because of the rain there were some soggy spots, but overall conditions were good and the condition of their greens was excellent. We played in less than 4 hours. Staff was friendly and helpful.

Course has been open only two weeks because of Hurricane Sally and the grounds crew has done an amazing job getting the course in great shape. The greens are large and putt true. Pro shop and club house staff were friendly and welcoming.

The friendly staff and grounds crew efforts following Hurricane Sally made our day of golf very enjoyable. The course was in great shape considering what Mother Nature had put it through. The greens were very nice.

We had an early tee time and didn't know what to expect after a night of heavy rain. We had to adhere to cart path only on our front, the East course, but had no restictions on our back, the North course. The fairways were understandably soggy, but the grounds crew had the bunkers and greens in excellent shape. We enjoyed our round and played in less than four hours. We had a good lunch in the clubhouse pub after our round served by a friendly and efficient staff.

Played early (7:30 am) in a foursome sandwiched between two threesomes and played 18 holes in three and a half hours. Fairways are generous, but if you cheat to the wrong side expect a bounce into the water. Conditions were good and we enjoyed the course.

One of our favorites in the area. Play the correct set of tees to avoid forced carries that you cannot fly and you will really enjoy this course. Conditions are always excellent and the staff is friendly.

A great golf course with many challenging features. We play this course every year. The staff is second to none. Friendly and accommodating.

Fabulous and challenging golf course. You don't get to take a hole off so be ready for four hours of golfing ecstasy. Short rough and slopes to the water hazards make finding the center of the fairway critical. When the clubhouse is complete expect to pay a pretty penny for this experience.

A fair challenge with outstanding course conditions. Felt lucky to get a tee time through GolfNow. Heard it was a nice course and it lived up to it's hype. Hope to get an opportunity to play this one again.

We never miss this one when we are in the area. A fun course with plenty of great holes and the conditions are always very good. Bring your sand game--Jack knows exactly where you are going to hit your ball. You will have to out smart him.

We really enjoyed the layout and course conditions. If you plan to play on a Wednesday know that they lightly top dress the greens so a morning round may be affected. Essential to play the correct tees for your handicap because there are several challenging forced carries. The Golfnow rate made this a great value.

Paid twilight rates hoping to play 15 or 16 holes. Pace of play allowed us to play all 18 with daylight to spare. Course conditions were pristine. This is one of our favorite venues.
