We had a great day. The course was in terrific shape and the greens were amazing. The clubhouse staff was super-friendly and gave us a great replay rate. The course is quite challenging! We will be back for sure. Thank you!
West Point Golf Course

We took the 2 hour drive to play because of a fantastic replay rate and lunch special. The course was outstanding with beautiful views. There are many challenging tee shots, so you have to be on your game. Bring a golf app to know your yardages to hazards. The course was in excellent condition. The only complaint I had was one employee. The staff was very friendly and very accommodating, except for one clown. There were two foursomes on the first tee so the starter kindly gave us the option of starting on the 3rd hole as we were a fast twosome. Upon coming back around to play holes 1 and 2, some guy comes screaming and yelling at us that we were trying to play extra holes. We explained the situation and he shakes his head and goes storming off. Then screams at us we better only play 2 holes. He acted like a complete jerk. He put a damper on a really nice day. But overall it was a great trip besides the one nasty employee.
Red at Bethpage State Park Golf Course
Played On 07/13/2017Great course, golf haven, slow greens
This is a fantastic course with every hole being challenging and well-designed. I am a regular here and consider myself lucky to have this course so close and so available. My only complaint is that they used to cut and roll these greens frequently, and they were fast and true. Now they only cut them and they are slow. Very slow. Although they are in great shape, the lazy maintenance staff only cuts them now, They don't rake the traps either. 5 hour rounds do not exist if you play before 900.
Solid course if you can get a decent deal
I played this course while vacationing in Naples. As a low handicapper who hits it long (but sometimes wide), I appreciated the wide and generous landing areas. The difficulty for a first timer is that you cannot see any of the green surfaces on your approach shots. If I played this course again I would score better. If you can get a deal play the course! I am not sure if I would pay $130+ though.
Thank you for visiting us at Blue Ridge Shadows Golf Club. We truly appreciate your 5-star feedback and hope you join us for another round soon!
