Would have enjoyed playing but unfortunately no one contacted us that it was closed. Aerating the greens. I definitely can support that but a morning drive that I didn’t need to make. Oh well, Will try again next time

My associate, who is a beginner golfer is mesmerized by this course. When I mention we should golf this week, the first thing he says is the Heather. He has me convinced. Give this course a try & you’ll be hooked. Exceptional staff to answer any questions.

First time playing this 9 hole course from a different land. Not knowing where the greens were on a majority of holes left me awestruck of the ability to carve these holes the way they have & still have opportunities to score a decent number when it should be 7s or 8s. The greens were a challenge I haven’t had in the Spring Hill area golf courses. Fast, steep & deceiving. Easy to 4-5 putt if you’re not careful. The opportunity to play the nine holes again for the 18 was thrilling knowing where the fairways actually go. Didn’t shoot any better but enjoyed it just as much.

Greens are better than I’ve played on here in yrs, many yrs. It is what it is & I enjoy playing it every time I come out. Good job. Keep it up

Was absolutely surprised to see how nice the geeebs are. Obvious that they worked hard to get them the way they are now. I’ve putted on the dirt greens

I have played this course several times now over the last year. It is the most enjoyable & challenging course I have the opportunity to play. I have played my best games there, not because it’s easy, but because it gives you many options on every hole.

Ii was definitely an unexpected surprise playing at southern woods. Played a course in this area a short time ago & was very disappointed. I wasn’t expecting much but wanted to try this course. It was inviting from the first hole. I felt challenged but could still feel confidence playing the holes as the added up. Greens were perfect considering the time of year. I loved the waterfall. Would & will play again. Im thankful for the experience & fun playing this course. Really enjoy playing a good course for the first time

Secrets out. The course is no longer empty Ayer noontime. It was one of the pleasures of golfing during the hottest part of the day, empty course. But as summer slides by I found myself behind at least 4 groups on the three holes ahead of me on the back nine. It took an hour on front nine & over two hours on back nine. Oh well. Course is still a pleasure to play at anytime.

It’s been a year since the last & first time I golfed Glen Lakes. The round was so quick I couldn’t remember the layout of the course.. this time I took my time to enjoy the rolling fairways and challenging greens. Unfortunately it started to down pour with two holes left to play but I couldn’t resist playing out the round in the rain. Never enjoyed golf as much as I did with these 18 holes. Of course the sun came out as I was packing my clubs into my car. I will play this course again & again as long as they continue to have deals on Golfnow.
