The Legacy
Played On 12/30/2023Awesome layout, Great greens
Passing through the Nashville area and was looking for a course to play and saw this on GN. After reading the reviews of this and several other courses I settled for The Legacy...and boy was I pleased with my decision. Awesome layout, greens were in very great shape for winter and I was able to get around in only a few hours.
Keep up the great work.

Played On 05/20/2020Great Course. Great Layout
Played the course, 3rd group out. Finished in just over 3 hrs. Layout was good. Tight in some places open in other, long in some places, short in others. Greens were very well maintained and very the right speed. Clubhouse and maintenance guys were super nice. The one and only issue I had was with the fact that they let Disc golfers out at the same time on the same course. A couple of times my playing partner and I were held up because we had to wait on them. On one occasion a disc golfer drove the golf cart straight across the green. We drove up and told them that was not allowed and it appeared it was his first time ever on a golf course. Nevertheless we didn't make us not enjoy our round.
Heron Bay Golf & Country Club
Played On 03/22/2020A Tough but Fair Challenge
Played the course on a really quiet Sunday afternoon as a single so I got around in less than 2.5hrs. Very few people out. The layout was challenging. Lots of elevation changes which meant that there were some odd lies. Fairways were still well maintained even though it was still early in the season. Greens well fast and will get faster. There were also some very beautiful holes up against the lake. A must play. Will come back once the season starts.

Played On 03/15/2020Strategic Positioning
Played from the tips which makes the course interesting from the back. You must position your shots on the right side of the fairway to get a good approach shot in. Some holes were challenging but overall very moderate. Greens were recovering from being plugged, therefore bumpy. While not top of my list I would return to test the greens.
Hi Phillip. We appreciate you leaving a review and rating us. We look forward to having you back at Crystal Lake Golf & Country Club!

Played On 07/10/2019AWESOME...KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK!!!
Personally I think this is one of the best gems ib Naples. It's been about 2 yrs since I last played this course...I relocated to the PNW. Each time I come back this way I keep promising myself to play it. Today I finally did. The course is in amazing shape for summer. Greens rolled pure. Fairways like they were never meant to be walked on and service was top notch. The layout is challenging as usual. I could NOT find a single flaw. Keep up the great work team!
Eagles Pride Golf Course - Blue/Green
Played On 04/15/2017Great and Affordable
Been in the Seattle area for just over a year and I've played most of the semi-private and public courses south of the city. This was a real find (first time playing the course), extremely affordable $22 walking-not bad for a Saturday morning in Seattle area, and I was very impressed how well maintained the course was given the amount of rain the past few weeks. First, the lady in the clubhouse was very pleasant, the starter was very nice and believe it or not, there were rangers driving around to ensure pace of play. Second, while the round took longer that I had expected - started at 10:30 finished around 3:15, it wasn't really due to slow pace of play. The course was very challenging, especially walking. Lots of hills so it made for a really stern walk. Finally, the course condition was impressive given the rains during the week. In fact, I played Wash National on Sunday afternoon and Eagle P. was much drier and the greens were already rolling true. Impressed!!! and will return.
Bonita National Golf & Country Club
Played On 05/17/2015Great Course...Lots of Potential
Newer course with lots of potential to be one of the better public access courses in the area. Staff was very friendly. Course was in excellent shape. Greens were still coming into form but still rolled true. Will play this course again before the Fall season start.

Played On 01/17/2015Course Conditions Better But Adress Slow Play
Course conditions getting better compared to when I played it late May LY. Looks like new owner(s) invested in the greens as they've improved significantly. Started late due to frost but play was extremely slow. Over 5 hours on a Sat afternoon. No rangers to speed things up and 4-some playing ahead should have been playing a much easier course. Overall experience average
Charlotte Harbor National Golf Club
Played On 01/10/2015Slow Play...No Play
Course was in great shape, weather was great but play was extremely slow. I was very disappointed in the lack of Ranger commitment to speed up play and was equally disappointed to learn that there was an unofficial tournament going on. The even more disappointing thing is I've always wanted to play this course but the experience was not worth the wait.
The Oaks Course
Played On 01/01/2015Good layout and challenging from the tips
Pllayed the course as a single and was able to get around in 3hrs despite a slower back nine. The course is somewhat challenging from the tips. Everything is infront of you. No blind shots but have to position your ball off the tew to attack mostly elevated greens. The staff in the clubhouse was very friendly especially since i got there about 1.5hrs before my tee time.
Enjoyed playing and will return.
Lakemont at Stone Mountain Golf Course
Played On 12/21/2014Beautiful and Challenging
Course condition was good but the greens were bare in many spots. Sad to see that such a great and challenging layout comes up "short" on the greens. Front nine was beautiful. Back nine a completely different feel. Both combined is awesome. Will return to play stonemont...I heard its a tougher test. One disappoint was the gate charge of $10. They should offset the green fees.
Mirror Lakes Golf Club
Played On 11/22/2014Playable and in Good Shape
Played as a two some early Sat AM. Overall the course is in good shape and playable...contrary to some of the earlier reviews. While the bunkers were light on sand, they were NOT hard-pan with weeds. The course is a local track and a great layout. I agree that it could be back to last years condition but it was certainly more than playable and it's still early in the season. I've played most of the local public access and muni courses in the area and while it may not be a Colonial CC or Pelican it was well maintained...I just manage my expectations. Course also drains very well compared to most in the areas
Revere Golf Club - Lexington Course
Played On 11/03/2014Slow Play and No Help
This was the first time I was playing a course in the Vegas area. I was even more excited because this is was the first time playing golf in the State of Nevada. I thought that by scheduling a course away from the city it would mean at least a good pace of play...unfortunately NOT!!!. While the course was a great layout and in great condition the pace of play was horrible. I couldn't even finish the round. Paid for 18 holes only played 9 holes. What a waste of money. Also, the guy in the pro shop was not very friendly or pleasant. The starter was at least his saving grace. Never playing this course again.
Heron Creek Golf and Country Club - Oaks/Marsh Course
Played On 10/26/2014This is an Absolute gem!!!
I've played some pretty good courses locally but I must admit that this one is by far one of the best...an absolute pleasure to play although it was challenging. I didn't shoot well but I was impressed by the layout, the challenge, the condition of the greens - rolled true- elevation changes for a SWFL course and service. I a word quite the experience nestled in North Port. Played Creek/Oak (there is 3 nine hole courses Oak/Creek/Marsh) from the tips about 6700 yds. Course played longer than it looks. Bring your A game. A little bit of a drive from East Ft. Myers but worth the 50 minutes. Will definitely return.
Cherokee Run Golf Club
Played On 10/18/2014Awesome Course...A must Play in the Area
I travel to the Atlanta area quite a bit and have always wanted to play this course. Finally got the opportunity to play the course and was impressed on a number of different levels. The layout was admittedly challenging with several elevation changes tee to green and forced carries requiring precision off the tee but it was nonetheless a very good test of skills. The course was in excellent shape and the greens rolled true. Definitely will return the next time I'm in the area.
Shell Point Golf Club
Played On 10/05/2014Pleasant Surprise
I play as a twosome and I was first impressed with the friendliness of the staff but also pleasantly surprised by how challenging the course was. My buddy and I played on Sat and was so beat up by the course we had to return on Sunday. The course, while it appears open requires accurate shots off the tee because of all the lakes, OB and lateral hazards. we played from the tip on a semi-windy day and it showed in our scores on day 1. You have to know the layout because trouble lurks in many places,. The Par 3 7th from the tips is quite challenging at 239 yds. The par 4 11th requires a long carry and accuracy. Overall this was a true test and I enjoyed every moment of it.
Egret Golf Course at Pelican Preserve Golf Club
Played On 09/21/2014Course in great shape
The course was in great shape in spite of the heavy rains. played as a threesome with friends. Although it was cart path only the pace of play was reasonable. Greens rolled true. Friendly staff.
Lely Resort Golf & Country Club - Mustang Course
Played On 09/07/2014Great layout
First time playing the course. Always wanted to play and finally got a great rate on GolfNow. Played hours after it rained but the conditions were very windy. The layout was awesome with many trouble spots especially on the back nine. Be weary of the "short" par 5 on the back nine. Trouble all around.
Old Corkscrew Golf Club
Played On 07/27/2014Awesome!!! First Class!!! Must Play!!!
I stopped counting a few years ago the number of great public access courses I've played between South FLA (Doral, President, Diplomat, Breakers) and Southwest Florida (Plantation, Colonial, Cypress Lakes) just to name a few and this course bar none was one of the very best...Awesome!!! Nice little gem tucked away in almost the everglades...or so it seemed.
Although I reserved through Golfnow the staff was First Class!!! when we arrived. Everyone was pleasant, upbeat and accommodating. We got there about an hour before the tee time and was able to get out almost immediately.
The course...A Must Play!!! Looks like they aerated about 3 weeks ago but the greens were in excellent shape - check, bunkers well raked and trimmed - check, yardage markers throughout - check, fairways great condition - check. I couldn't find a single thing wrong with the course condition...my only advice...bring you "A" game because one lapse in concentration could result in some very high scores as I found out the final 6 holes. I will definitely return to redeem myself.
This is a course requiring placement off the tee, a solid second shot to the right place on the green and strategy to score well. Have Fun!!!
Old Orange at Verandah
Played On 06/15/2014Great layout. Excellent condition. Awesome deal
Played the course with my son and a friend for the first time on Father's Day. The cart staff and clubhouse service was excellent. Very professional and made us feel like we were members. There is nothing bad to be said about the facilities or the course itself. It's a must play facility (with 36 holes) if you're in the Ft. Myers area. We did get rained on but the course held up to the rain.
We appreciate you leaving a review and rating us. We will inform the entire team, so they know their hard work is paying off. We look forward to having you back at WildHorse Golf Club!
