My wife and I played the course while we were in town for Thanksgiving week and totally enjoyed it. The views on the course were amazing. The course was challenging but fair and the forward tees made it very enjoyable for my wife. Even though it was off season the conditions were very good and while we were playing I noticed the maintenance staff removing leaves off the fairways ahead of us. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. We look forward to playing it again on our next visit.

Upon check in were helped by a rather uninterested gentlemen in the pro shop. He barely said anything to us as he gave us our starters ticket. We then stood around for quite awhile at the bag stand waiting for our clubs to be loaded only to learn that our names were not on the tee sheet. They proceeded to finally send us out as a twosome. The course conditions were awful even though the winter has been very mild here. The pace of play was 4.5 hours and we never saw a ranger. With all of the choices in The Grand Strand area I would highly recommend not playing at Brunswick.
