I love that they are not gouging us with ridiculously high prices. The course is in much better shape than others in the area, nice an green.

But people need to take the time to learn a few etiquette things, nothing against the course, although perhaps a marshal would help. Rake the bunkers. Repair your pitch marks. Don't just drive into a parallel fairway to get to your wayward shot without checking that it's clear. Allow a 3-some to join your single (you're waiting anyway).

Ok, I'll stop my rant.

Great place!

The course seems to be still recovering from winter. Range was mats only. Fine. Greens were like putting on pineapples...bumpy with crabgrass or something growing. Fairways a bit thin with many bare spots.

While I think it's great in theory to have lots of native grasses and flowers, it seems a bit unfair when balls that are only slightly off target end up rolling into these areas and are basically lost. "Rough" shouldn't mean "lost". These areas should be long and whispy/thin or shorter and thick, but where balls are findable.

Will be looking for something a bit more fair.

Too bad because the greens are great.

While on the range, an employee delivered balls and apologized for the delay, which it wasn't really necessary to apologize. He stated there was a delay because they had a twelvesome go out earlier. There was no starter. Later we heard other complaints about this twelvesome clogging up things (but hey, only 9 were actually golfing, we heard). This totally jacked up the entire flow. There is never a marshal on the course. Not sure why they allow this.

I did not actually witness this twelvesome, just reporting what the employee and other golfers stated, and I figure I can trust the employee. I do know that it was slow and the group 2 ahead seems to have at least 1 entire hole gap, but no marshal on site to encourage speedy play.

Overall, it was a nice day and our group is generally chill about such things, but they could use with some on course pace of play management.

Overall, the course seems to always be in great shape. Perhaps the greens weren't as pristine as they have been in the past but still as good as or better than other similar courses in the area.

Would have preferred if slow two-some in front and twosome behind our foursome would have been grouped together by the starter.

Was slow-ish due to "pros" playing from tips who didn't have game to play from there. Wished marshal would have pushed them a bit.

Nice greens and bunkers. Better than others in area. Love the holes with two fairway options.

I wish the clubhouse was as they originally planned.

New management and now things are back to being great at Buffalo Creek. New carts, more staff, new sand in bunkers, smooth greens...yep, things are back..

This was the first time playing under the new name. The last time was years ago as The Creeks of Beechwood. As Beechwood it was too difficult but now it's too gimmicky on the back nine with back to back par 3s and super short par 4s and what seemed like a 2 mile drive across the parking lot from 16 (formerly 9) to 17. Was like the Wizard of Oz following the yellow brick road markings to know where to go. 11 to 12...gotta U-turn into people on tee. 18 to clubhouse... another U-turn into those teeing off. All piles up together with folks at #1, #17, people going to range.

Whoever planned this redesign probably wasn't a golfer. Just plow up the back 9 and start over.

This has a lot of doglegs but that's probably typical of country club courses in neighborhoods. Played after 30 minute rainstorm and course drained well, particularly the greens. Was solo and completed in 2 hrs 5 minutes. WOW!

Will be back.

First time playing, as far as I can recall and it was a fun experience. Some challenging holes, which now haven played I'd likely do better. Lived the holes with two fairway choices. Great greens.

Surprised that there is still no real clubhouse. Also surprised there was no service cart.

Anytime you can play 18 in 2hrs 20minutes as a single, there's not much to complain about. Greens were aerated and sandy. But rate was good so didn't mind too much. I do wish folks would publish that sort of info though.

ALL bunkers have been left unmaintained, overrun with grass and showing exposed drainage pipes.

Rough is too high with piles of dried grass clippings everywhere making it impossible to find stray shots.

Greens slow as fairways at other courses.

Buffalo Creek is now on the Do Not Play list. Sad to see after playing there many years.

Our group generally stopped going to WestRidge due to the terrible pace of play issues and the last time we were there, many greens were awful, to the point of having areas that were marked off. So we hadn't been in more than 6 months. Today we thought we'd see what had changed. The answer is NOTHING regarding the pace of play. No marshal. Nobody doing anything to try to enforce speedy play. Sure the carts might flash a warning that the group is behind but nobody pays attention to that. After 4 hours with likely another hour+ to go, that was enough for me. Again, this will be on my DO NOT PLAY/DO NOT RECOMMEND list.

Tour 18 used to be one of those once or twice a year adventures I looked forward to. The valet service getting your bag on the cart, the pyramid of range balls, the nice practice greens, great greens and bunkers, the views...all of that is how is USED to be. Now, there is none of that. Well, OK, the view is still nice from the 10th green.

No valet. OK fine. But also, there were NO RANGE BALLS so getting there 40 minutes early to warm up was a waste. The greens were the WORST ever on any golf course I've ever seen in 25 years of playing golf. No sand in many bunkers or bunkers overgrown with grass or with the batting/underliner exposed. The fringe area around greens was full of weeds...not rough but broadleaf weeds. The starter warned us that it was terrible but that warning didn't prepare us for the actual conditions.

The course should be closed until they get get things back in order.
