I’m not sure who the group is that thinks this is a course that ranks even in the top 10, because sadly, it’s not worth the $130 to play. Sure it’s a nice course but unless you get a smokin’ hot Hot Deal you won’t be missing anything.
Everything was average, a couple holes have some views but I’ve played many courses around Arizona that are better. But, it was a windy day and we were basically alone out there (until the ProShop sent out a family to the 10th tee just as we arrived). And we managed to finish in 3:30 without ever seeing a soul.

About average conditions for this time of year. Greens look like they could be cut a little lower as the speed was slowwwww and that’s tough when you are used to fast.
Otherwise fun round in the heat!

Played here a bunch of times in November. The month started slow but things have really improved. Totally walkable, greens are rolling well, rough is starting to be trimmed. Overall, a fantastic bang for your buck!

Strangest course. The first couple holes are fine winter season early golf. Then you jump in a cart and travel a couple miles to the back half. The tee boxes are good, the fairways are fair but the greens are less than impressive.

Nice wide green grass fairways, painted fast greens. Certainly worth the HotDeal!!
Downside is no marshals to get the foursome ahead of us moving quicker.

We were sadly disappointed at this $85 par 70 course. For that price we were hoping for some fun but the starter informed us that it was probably not the course for us and he was right.
Very narrow fairways, no room for error because the houses are right in the course.
Greens were slow, sadly over seeded … overall a big disappointment. Might have been a great place to play in 1946 but … times they a changing. Don’t bother unless you remember 1946.

Wow, so green and lush!! Cart path only (which is the norm this week) but a great job on the overseed. Course was in fantastic condition, greens were fast and true. Just need more marshalling to keep the groups moving along.

Some of the pin placements were a lot unfair but if you like speedy …

Nice place to play. Fairways were wide enough, some of the bunkers had been redone. Greens were fast albeit could use some TLC (why don’t people fix their ball marks!?). 08:30 tee time. Was 6*c so was a 1 hour frost delay but once we got moving the flow was decent finishing in just over 4 hours.
Only drawback was the constant noise from small planes overhead made it difficult to talk to your partners. Certainly worth the time to give it a shot!

Was a great way to spend Christmas morning! Felt weird being paired up with a stranger considering we were only a twosome.
Worthwhile deal for the area. I’d play it again.

Well maintained but good luck if it’s your first time. Tricky layout and even with the yardage book it was difficult to know where to hit the ball. Played with a couple locals and that made it a great and fun experience. True greens and forgiving desert made it a great round.
But, it’s NOT the private course.

We got paired up with a member. Course was fun ... the marshal must have been replaced ... this old codger just smiled as he drove past.
It’s certainly walkable so go and enjoy yourselves!

Usually when you pay $120 for a round of golf you’d expect luxury and class. Didn’t get that. Being a resort course it was a pain watching the three guys with rentals trying to make 6” putts, they finally let my twosome pass when I nailed a 330 yard (with the wind and way downhill), they had no clue.
Once we
Passed them it was clear sailing. But ... the course needs some maintenance. Again, nice short course but there are a lot better for half the price. Done, know better now.

And ... I had the course to myself. Would love playing it when it’s all green.

Driving into the parking lot and looking at the clubhouse and facilities, we almost drove away! Dirt road and parking, clubhouse reminded me of a 50 year old trailer. But the guy at the ProShop was nice and helpful. The course itself could be absolutely amazing but just wasn't quite there. Well manicured but over watered in some spots gave it the 4/5 star.
You definitely need a cart on the back 9 unless you're a mountain goat but the front would be easy enough.
The biggest complain I had was the price. It really wasn't much of a deal and ended up costing $70/per person. Certainly would have expected better but unless you wanted to play in the stinking hot, that's what it cost us.
I'll play it again one day, but not for that price.

I was in town for work, got off early and could NOT pass up the $16 deal!! Even though it was Men's Night I walked the first 11 holes before I caught the 4somes ahead of me. If you have never played the course you have to, the course is in great shape, well manicured and greens really nice shape for their early season!

The course itself is a beautiful location! Next to the Columbia River, scenic views of the mountings. A couple years ago there was even a moose wandering the course. This year however, the course is in fair shape but the greens .... burnt, punched, and guess where they put the holes, no, not on the green parts!
I booked last minute for $20 so won't complain because I did get to golf but 3 days ago I played Tobiano in Kamloops. Unfair comparison perhaps.

Course will be awesome when the weather warms up. Cannot wait!
