Just say NO

This place is a dump. It is a combination of dead grass dirt and divot mix.
They have planned a redesign of some if not all of the course this spring. Course doesn't look like its seen water in weeks. They charge full price, $80 when I went and thats criminal for the conditions. This course should've just closed and done their renovation. The staff was nice, beer was cold and the food was fine. Course not so much. Sorry but it had to be said

Thank you for taking the time to provide us Feedback on your experience. We are sorry we didn’t meet your expectations during your visit. As it relates to turf conditions in “winter” months of January & February, the off color yellow brown conditions are related to multiple days of heavy frost we experienced in late January. During Winter, turf color does not rush back to green and lush due to night time temps staying below 60 degrees for most of Jan / Feb / and often into March. The Greens can take on a purple, yellow, or brown hue during cold snaps and we treat them weekly with liquid fertilizer to bring them back to a greener tint. The dry winter conditions (with very limited rainfall) do create firm and fast conditions and tighter fairways. Overall, in the marketplace we have priced ourselves accordingly and offer a very good value during the high demand months. Our Starters and Rangers do their best to keep players on pace but in certain circumstances players can get unruly and somewhat vulgar at times. Finally, this summer we plan to renovate the entire golf course, new greens, new turfgrass, rebuilt bunkers, and new laser-leveled tee boxes with new turfgrass. In the Fall, we will reopen and have an entirely new fresh look. Thank you for your time and we hope you will consider visiting again.

This course should be closed

The layout of this course is nice. Having said that, it is a goat ranch. Conditions are the worst I've ever seen. Tee boxes fairways greens all a mixture of dead grass dirt and divot mix. Looks like it hasn't seen water this year. Greens are unevenly mowed with all the goose grass bumpy as can be. After paying $80, you then see the signs of the upcoming redesign. No way they should be charging 40 much less 80. It was the only place I could find a tee time. That should have been a red flag right there. If youre not going to take care if the course then just close and bring on the bulldozers for your redesign. I brought friends from out of town there and was completely embarrassed. I can't wait to see the greens fees after the redesign, not that I'll ever be back. Shame on the owners for their money grab before they DO close in April. Save your $ and play Greenfield or River club for less and the course is in great shape. I wish I had taken pictures.

It is what it is this time of year

Erskine is always in great shape considering the traffic it gets. Close to home, GolfNow deals are excellent value.
SB courses increased their prices significantly this year, so GolfNow is the way to go. I'll always play there due to proximity and value

Great discount

The price extended from last minute golfer was a can't miss deal! The course was in good shape and doesn't have the appearance of high traffic. I.e. ball marked greens. I played during the week and late morning, very little traffic. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful.
Overall I enjoyed the experience very much and will certainly be back, and I will definitely be using last minute golfer
