The Troon name goes to their heads a bit. Marshall was worthless. Waited a little on the back 9 but overall not bad. I am not sure why the Troon courses have rude staff. Its like they think they are better than me?

Love love love Verrado. Great test and a great course

Very challenging and fun course. Got off on the first Tee at 7am and finished 18 by 9:55am. Great course and reasonably priced. Will come back again!

Course was in better condition than I have ever seen it in. $100 to play is comical. I think $60-70 dollars is about what they should be charging. Unfortunately, Spring Training inflates everyones brain on what their course is worth. The biggest turn off to this course is the marshall. What a complete idiot that guy was. He first complained our foursome wasn’t keeping up with the twosome in front of us. I laughed out loud. Then he went on a rant about 14-15 minutes per hole because he knew he was wrong. Honestly, the guy liked hearing himself talk. What a bafoon. He wasted another 10 minutes talking about who knows what. Played 18 in exactly 4 hours doing nothing different than what we did the first 2 holes before his rant. Cheers!

I have been waiting for months to play this course. Extremely expensive place to play for your average Joe. First things first, Troon charges a “water tax”that wasn’t on any documents from Golfnow. It was $10 more for us with the explanation of “we have to truck water in” Ridiculous. No other course in AZ does this in my years of golfing the Phoenix area. Course was in beautiful condition and has breath taking views. The Monument course was closed for seeding. We were on the Pinnacle course. Troon decided in their infinite wisdom to overload the course with foursome after foursome. The first 4 holes went by with minor waiting for the group in front of us. At Hole 5 we sat and waited for 25 minutes until the 3 groups in front of us were able to clear. The course Marshall was a very nice man and was able to get us a refund due to the fact that the course was overloaded and we wouldn’t finish before dark. Unbelievably disappointing. Luckily the course manager was reachable by phone in order to get us our refund from the kid in the pro shop. Completely unacceptable behavior from supposedly the best course in Arizona. I will be taking my business elsewhere.

Terrific place to play golf and relax. Beautiful course in great condition even though theres been a ton of rain! Absolutely recommend!!

Course was in terrible condition. The rain didn’t help but the greens have a grass disease that have destroyed them. Not worth the $100-120 they want to play. I would pay 40 tops. Much better courses in Phoenix area for $100
