First Time Playing

Verrado

First time out playing the founders course, have played the victory a couple times and can’t go wrong with either. The Founders is a much more traditional desert course where as the Victory is a tad more memorable taking advantage of a lot of white rock to give the course a totally different aesthetic than most local desert courses. As far as difficulty goes the workers at their respective courses will both tell you theirs plays 3-5 shots harder. In my opinion they play about the same difficulty. Both courses are in SUPERB condition for the price the only two differences I noticed in surface quality was the founders course may get a taaaad more water giving it slightly greener grass and more prominent rough however the victory course being the newer of the two had pure white sand bunkers that you would find on tour. I drive the 45 minutes from the Tempe area and would do it every time if I could get my buddies to agree. The Verrado courses are easily my favorite places to play. After 3 years of driving around this desert trying to find the perfect round I am pleased to say the search is over. Oh and your greens fee at either course includes unlimited use of their scenic driving range fully stocked with fresh pearly Taylormade practice balls. If you have any desire to play either of these two courses pull the trigger and make it happen.
