Kino Springs Golf Course
Played On 07/10/2016Do not play here
Played this course 4-5 years ago and it was decent with much wonderful history and surrounding beauty. Just played it on July 10th with a friend. It appears perhaps it may have been sold or changed management because it is being ruined. The old historic buildings which were once part of a famous ranch are in shambles with the old resort a wreck. The course is awful...mostly hard pan fairways, uneven greens, potholed and eroded cart paths. What a shame as this course and property has so much potential. The owners obviously couldn't care less. A $10 greens fee is still too much to pay. The so-called club house bar is a joke. Almost seems like whoever owns it is intentionally letting it go to write off a loss. I don't recommend golfing here at any price.

for what it is, it is all right however fairway grass is kept way too short and there is a lot of clover in the fairway. no fringe around greens. course is tight and in that way challenging. biggest fault i experienced was incorrect hole distances. if you play it plan on flag being 10-20 yards shorter than what signs and card says especially on par 3's!!! take a range finder and ignore distance marker. course probably 300 yards shorter in actuality than advertised. very dusty.
we are sorry that you were disappointed with your round and day here with us. we want to apologize for the bad conditions and can assure you that we are working to constantly improve them each day! we hope that you would give us another shot to exceed your expectations of us and 'wow' you!
