My wife and I golfed at Schalamar this pass sunday. First of all, I am a fan of Ron Garl, the golf architect and his work.. I would think that he is not very happy with what happened to his golf club and the very poor condition that it is in. The greens are just about gone due to poor maintenance and diseased condition. The tee boxes and fairways were in very rough condition. The staff and the clubhouse were excellent as well as the 3 hour play conditions. The front 9 was in the wooded area while the back 9 was through the trailer park homes and very narrow and tight.

Pinecrest is one of my favorite golf clubs in the Sebring area .My wife and I drove 45 minutes down from Winter Haven to play here in March. The course was in need of repair both in the tee boxes and fairway due to bald spots and the lack of gras. The sand traps needed to be power raked since the sand was uneven in spots. The greens were in great shape.The 19th hole at their restaurant was once again excellent for its food and service.

My wife and I love pinecrest. We drove app 1 hr to this club and it was worth it.We have played here several times over the past years.
This is a great Donald Ross course. The staff,the restaurant, the greens and traps were in great shape. What needs most of the work are the tee boxes and most of the fairways, We had a great day linked up with another couple, Jim and Chris .

This was a beautiful golf club. The staff was first class, the pace of play was excellent, the course for central Florida and a public course with many daily rounds was in great condition. I work at a private club back in Pa, and we have app 100 players per day.This club has over 3 times that per day.

I have been playing this course off and on for the past 50 yrs. The last time that I played it was app 20 yrs ago since I moved out of the area. Many of the trees need to be either trimmed or removed . The sand traps needed work. The greens were in great shape along with the fairways. My wife and I enjoyed our round of golf at arrowhead and wish the owners all the best.

Played this course on the 4th weekend. It was in great shape ! Pace of play was great for a holiday weekend. The staff were great both in the pro shop and bar. Thank you !

Third time here at Pinecrest during our 2 month stay in sebring. We love this course ,the staff and ,the restaurant. This Donald Ross course is in great shape and has fast greens. We are looking forward to coming back in 2024. Thank you , Pinecrest !

It was the first time playing this course after many times at turtle run. The back 9 holes was more difficult than the front . Course conditions were excellent and we are looking forward to returning again soon.

My wife and I got a great deal on Tee off this past week. It was a shot gun start of app 90 golfers and to my surprise, we were done in just under 4 hrs. The course was in excellent shape, tee boxes, fairways, traps and greens even though the Sebring area was currently in a drought. We will definitely play here again. The temp was 90 and sunny in avon park Fl . The greens were in great shape along with the sand traps. The fairways and tee boxes were a little rough due to the lack of rain for several weeks. I will definitely be back to play golf and eat in their great restaurant.

Ok I had a tee time and arrived at the club. Pro shop buba said that the club would not honor the tee time book since the new owners LIE the owners purchased the club 3 years ago and put 2 million dollars in the course LIE. Buba apparently was a former used car salesman on the Grand Strand. Buba apparently is on salary and commission in screwing the golfers. It is a shame to have this clown employed at this club. The course was in pretty good shape with the exception of the greens. Buba get your resume prepared !

the greens were in very poor condition. The golf super was apparently on vacation. the fairways,tee boxes and traps were all in fair condition but the greens needed big time work .

Willow hollow was in great shape and played in 3.5 hours. Jim in the Pro shop was very friendly and helped us out since we arrived .

It is goodbye to this golf course one way or another for me. I will never play here again due to the very poor conditions. I do hope that the buyer of this course obtains their approvals from the township and puts a bulldozer to this club. It is sad to see a once beautiful club in a run down condition yesterday.

That is what this course was between the front and back 9 holes. The money was spent on the back 9 holes which was in good condition while the front 9 had crab grass and no grass on the fairways and greens .Still needs a lot of work. My recommendation, play 9 holes and make it the back 9.

Played here several times, Not a good round, missed several short putts but still had a good time.
