Timacuan has received poor reviews recently regarding course conditions, mostly justified. However, not this time! The greens were pure, relatively fast and very good overall. Sure there are still some that have some small patches but the superintendent has done really well. The layout is still one of the most unique and challenging which is always a plus for this course.

First time playing the course and you really need to pay attention off the tee as most tee shots require balancing water on one side and OB or jungle on the other. This is a good thing if looking for a challenge. Greens were in really good shape and rest of the course was fair, but that is due to lack of rain. Pro shop and bag drop employees were all very friendly. Look forward to playing it again.

Again the course was in great shape from tee to green. Appreciate management allowing single carts during ongoing Covid. Beyond the health benefit, likely speeds up pace of play as well. Great job in all areas OCN!

The course was in good shape overall. . Greens still lumpy but playable. Forcing pairing up with strangers in carts with COVID Delta variant still very much an issue isn’t a responsible policy. Other comparable courses in central FL don’t require this and management should reevaluate.

Greens were still healing but the course let you know at booking. The rest of the course was in great shape and the staff is always accommodating.

The greens are always in good shape, the fairways are coming back to form and the new carts are a great addition to this course. Staff is always super friendly.

The course was always well maintained before the renovations and they haven't missed a beat ! Great condition (little leftover sand on a couple greens but 100% playable) Great job on the 3 hole changes especially 10 and 18.

The course is looking really good in all aspects. Heavy rains meant path only on back 9. Issue was with a foursome of self proclaimed non golfers that killed the pace of play. Called it in and staff addressed on front 9. Slight improvement but back 9 again called in and staff chose not to address. A 4-1/2 hr round could've been done in 3:45. Waiting 10 minutes on a tee box isn't keeping pace. .

The course was in good shape in all areas. The previous bad course conditions seem to have been remedied and the course was fair and consistent. This course has one of the best layouts and is a good challenge. Hopefully the improving course upkeep continues.

Unique tight course with a few holes on the back where you can let out the driver. A lot of rain the previous night so path only and wet conditions but that is no fault of the course. Really friendly staff from pro shop, starter and bev cart. A good course to practice accuracy and course management.

Shingle is one of the better courses in the area. The greens are still bumpy especially front 9 from aerating and the back 9 greens are further along. Overall course was in good shape and the staff is friendly as usual.

The greens were good as usual. The fairways and first cut of rough were patchy and with some sort of weeds. They had these areas much better in the fall/winter but not looking too good right now. Hope to get the conditions back on track.

The superintendent always has this course in really good shape. Other than recovering greens from aerating the course was really good.

Only issue was the greens were still recovering from aerating w/o being noted at booking. Not huge deal they were mostly playable and I compliment to the course for providing a small discount for the inconvenience. In a week w/a little more rain, greens should be good to go. All other conditions were very good.

Shingle is one of the best courses In Orlando. However not today with the previous rain the drainage was so poor that there should’ve been a disclaimer when checking in about the conditions which bordered unplayable in many areas. It will take several dry days before the course gets off path only and actually playable.

The course and the greens were in great condition. Compliments to the grounds crew and superintendent.

One of the better courses in Orlando but the greens were recently aerated and still healing. There should’ve been an advisory on Golf Now so players were aware. Misleading to not give accurate disclosure.

The course was in really good condition considering current drought and good value. The staff all around was exceptionally polite and a big contributor to the positive review.

This is one of the better courses in central FL but the greens and fairways have been better in the past. Maybe lack of rain is playing a part but it has been better.
