Manitou is always a fun track to play.

The greens are what gives me the most work, lots of slope, pretty fast, and tough to read cuz of the “ridge”.

Professional staff very welcoming and friendly.

This was the best we’ve played of the less the $50 category.

It’s been a good month for the course conditions at Majestic. The greens roll true, albeit a bit on the slow side, but they seem like they’ll firm up and be quicker when the overseeding soak dries up and they’ve been mowed a dozen times.
Quiet carts, smooth paths, and the pace of play is better than 3 1/2 hours..
It’s a fun track. I’ll go back.

Twin Isles is a good test. It’s time to get the overseed growing so it was too wet, but we played lift clean and place, so bring a wet towel.
Back tees are perfect if you hit it 250-70. Par 3s aren’t overly long. You can get away with a little miss into the greens. The greens are healthy and they rolled out real well. I thought the driving lines were pretty intuitive for a first time around. It was interesting enough that I can remember a lot of the holes.
It was worth the trip.

Conditions could be better. Some spots dry, some wet. Some areas with good turf others almost barren. We played the ball up so it was manageable.
The golf course gives you room to spray it a little, but had enough strategic tire placement to reward positioning a drive. Greens have a degree of character that makes the holes seem unique. Par threes are good holes. Par fives are benign and pretty simple.
We had a fun day.

It was my first chance to see Old Corkscrew. What a great track.

Nice feel from the start. The staff as well as the people out to play, all seemed to be glad they were there.

I played from around 6600 yds and found it pretty demanding of the tee ball. The green complexes were interesting and varied, and although very challenging, punished a miss less than the tee ball.

I gotta say the most pleasant aspect of Old Corkscrew is the preserve setting, you’re definitely not playing in a residential development.

We had a good time today at Majestic. Staff was friendly when we arrived, and we got out right away. Hotdogs and a beer at the turn was easy, and we got around in 4 hours hours. We’ll go back again.

It’s obvious that efforts are paying off at the New Westminster. The course is lookin great. The work done on forward tee boxes is great (see pic). We had mid to upper 90s for a week, so mowing heights were a little higher than optimal on tee boxes and fairways, but the greens are comin back from aeration, so why not? I look forward to playing again when it’s cool enough for tighter fairways and boxes.
The course is a good balance of doglegs left and right. Almost all of it is in front of you and visible from the tee. Much of the length making par difficult, came on the par threes, but at least I was playing from a peg.
Staff is friendly and I was paired with a really nice member with good Bluetooth music. Thanks Pete

Not your typical Florida course. Par 5s uniquely designed and very good. Lots of design features really work here. Well done.

It’s a city parkland course with really well designed green complexes. Generous landing areas, make this medium length course tipping out at approx 6600 yds, a “bombers” course. Miss greens and your busy trying to make par and sometimes busy saving bogey.
Great course fir groups with mixed playing abilities.
Fun track.

Quality course in good condition. Would of been a fine day of golf except for the outside staff. Unusually friendly reception and farewell, help with directions to practice and the first tee, and even recommendations for restaurants made us feel welcome and made the day and Candler Hills one to remember.

This is a really nice course. The two finishing holes near sunset are awesome. Practice and warm up facilities outstanding, Greens very good, fairways good, plenty of tee boxes to choose from. Can’t complain about anything.

Over seeded courses play a little slower than I like but this place is beautiful.

This course is really good. Conditions excellent. Practice into the lake, good pitching and putting green. We were paired with good players, which always is a lucky strike. Host pro was friendly. Thanks

So glad we snagged the hot and drove out to,this Nicklaus jewel. It’d rained like heck fo the past few days and we played a very playable course. The greens were sort of firm actually.
Jack makes you hit all the shots, and I don’t have them all, but I could finish the hole even when I missed shots. Really fun.

I’m from MN and always play Timbercreek when in the Mobile Area.
I was lucky to,get out before a tournament started, but that said, joined a nice threesome and we had a good day. A few times we were approached by a Marshall,with ice and water and a kind word.

This is a real nice track. The whole Tiffany area is nice we had a room res at an airport hotel, and searched for close golf. Couldn’t be more pleased with last minute hot deal tee time. Highly recommend to airport travelers with time to kill.
