First time on this exec. course. Have played other course there in past years on vacation and always enjoyed it. This was 1st time picking up clubs in 4 months, so thought exec. course was the way to go, and was not disappointed. For an exec. course it is still well maintained, and a short iron challenge. Also enjoyable for a change, as we could take our time, and enjoy the first round of the season for us.

Clubhouse is a work in progress, but carts are new and clean. Staff was extremely friendly. We played late afternoon, and a staff member came to our car after our round and informed us of quality restaurants and other sites in the area. As for the course...wow. We played on a rainy, windy afternoon, but still marveled at the course conditions. The greens were the most enjoyble part. They held iron shots, and rolled true, even some putts the length of the green. Only here for a wk, but will be sure to return, especially at the price.

Hartford has always been a course to fall back on when I just want to play a nice relaxing round. Fairways always in good condition, and greens have always been a challenge. Not overwhelmingly long, just long enough to challenge, with bunkers placed to make you think, instead of just ripping it toward the green. Have been there with big hitters, and have taken my wife, ( not a big hitter ) and all have enjoyed Hartford.

Last minute booking. $18.00 ea. for 18 holes riding. Would have payed twice that without blinking an eye. Greens are quick with subtle breaks. Receptive to short and midiron shots, and roll true. Fairways are tight, like most courses in Fla. this time of year. Booked 2 days in a row. Back tees are a challenge for even above average players, and front tees worked well for my wife. Made a beautiful day that much more enjoyable.

A last minute booking...live north of Milw. and found Glen Erin in Janesville as a last minute special. $25 for this course was a steal. Fairways were pristine, which is unusual given weather conditions this year...no burn out anywhere. Greens are undulating and a good test, and just gorgeous. Would return anytime, even without the discount rate...yes it's that good.

We've played RRHills a number of times and never been disappointed. Staff is always friendly and accomodating, and conditions always above par. Would recommend RRHills to anyone frome beginner on up. I enjoy taking my wife with me because the layout allows for the shorter hitters to enjoy as much as anyone else. Great value.
