We played this course on a flawlessly beautiful Saturday. Its only nine holes but I like that as I always think I could play this hole better the second time round..and in fact did (and also did not) on some of the holes. There are no sand traps or water that comes into play so it made it more enjoyable for play. At one point we spoke to a young sophomore from the local high school (West Shamokin Wolves!) and his friendliness and overall polite manner (not to mention a heck of a tee shot) embodied the feel of the day. Don't expect fancy locker rooms-there are none-or an amazing restaurant-only hotdogs, candy bars and beer. But you can expect a friendly staff and some tricky greens to give you pause.
