I had read a review from some complainer about mud and astro turf for a tee box but came here anyhow to judge for myself. I've played at some of the best courses in Atlanta as well as in The Villages in Central Florida and I find this course to be as well maintained as any I've ever played. Yes, the fairways are somewhat narrow, but the course is a bit forgiving if your ball wanders off. There has been reseeding of the tee boxes and 'that is why the whiner complained about the one with turf, but all of the others have mature grass on them. As for mud, one approach to one hole where the grass is still growing the is a little moisture on the ground where when your ball approaches the green it may roll through a little wet dirt that gets on your ball that the complainer called mud. The greens are fast, but I suggest you do a little putting practice on a great putting green they have there that is the same as the greens on the course. Staff is friendly and very helpful. Suggest you bring a few extra balls as I'm reminding you, the fairways are a bit of a challenge but with the course conditions and views you can't go wrong by playing this nine hole twice for your 18 holes and a great experience as there are many 3 pars and only one 5 par.

We were a threesome and nothing held us back. We're not rushed either. Should have more bathrooms. Wonderful course and was the best golfing since I've been visiting here for several years, but doesn't take away from some of the other courses nearby.

Greater conditions vs last year. Will be back again. Will bring swim fins and snorkel as lots of water. The two gators in the water on 18 wouldn't let me retrieve my ball that was in the water, guess they knew I was a GA Dawg.

I played here a couple of years ago and the course was being worked on and had temp greens...was terrible. This time, this course is as nice as some of the high dollar courses I play..St. Marlo, Sugarloaf, etc. I shall return and play again.

Myself and three friends had a great round of 18 holes. Beautiful courses, great pace of play and staff was very helpful and professional. Will be back again.

Very helpful and friendly staff. Grounds keepers were very considerate. Carts were clean. We will be back.

Excellent course and friendly crew. Only complaint is the bathrooms on the course could use an upgrade.

If there's a golf course in heaven, this would be it. If there's one in Hatties, this would be it too. Very challenging but very enjoyable at the same time. I'll be back again soon.
