Busy Sunday afternoon on any golf course here in south west Florida and they want you to lay in 4 hours . Starting our back 9 and the course was busy a group of 6 starts to play in front of us called the pro shop and as we we’re getting backed up other groups behind us we’re saying how can they permit this .. they came out after a couple more holes and said they were not moving fast enough so the group talked with us and we went though but the 6 kept playing on and we watch the others get backed up .. so I’m going to get six friends and play together because it must be permitted..at any other course it’s not permitted so this is good to know that they do..

This is the first golf course where they didn’t have any cups for water .. they put a sign on the ice and water machine that you could buy a container which is fine but when you play golf in Florida water is a must and they should be able to fill a cup with water for their own safety in the heat that you play in..
But must be a tight budget but they do have ones that you can buy.. ummm all about making money..

3 rd time playing this new course and it is a very fun course in southwest Florida with the mounds you have not your typical course that you find to play and as it matures the course will even get better..

Attention any one who has the PGA golf pass membership book River Hall Country Club doesn’t honor their golf ad in the book. We followed the rules of getting a tee time and telling the pro shop manager that we were passbook members and got a tee time we were to pay $35 per person get to the course and they said sorry we can’t give you that price and wanted to charge us $85 . The manager is off today and they can’t give us that price because it’s not on the register and can’t do it no way without the manager being there .. then they said they would give us their best price an 1:30 later @ $65 .
The passbook is good from May 1-October 31.. So if you don’t honor your ad why did you even put it in the book.. we all drove and Hour to the course to find this out ..
in this time of protesting I’m protesting that you shouldn’t play this course at anytime unless you like to get lied to and have to pay extra money..

Greens are good but they have lost there fairways which are now all sand no grass hardly in any fairway.....just around the greens you will find grass ..

The course is in very bad shape it is waterlogged With construction as well and some of the par 4 are now par 3 ..the course should be closed so it doesn’t get become a complete mess and ruined for season.. I understand the need to be open because of lost revenue but to charge people the amount of money over $40 to play is ridiculous and is going to leave a bad taste in your mouth and will lead to more bad reviews .. Save the course now before you ruin it let it dry out then open. You have to look at the big picture..I enjoy the course and play quite a few times a year but not going back for some time and it is a course I recommend to a lot of people to play not now !!!

This course is getting some nice updates which will make it even better .. staff is very friendly.. if you like wildlife it’s a wonderful place to play.

New course opened in February and it is only going to get better.. check it out before it will a very popular course at a great rate..

Fairways fair shape hopefully will become better with some warmer weather, greens fast good shape for this time of the year.
