TimberLake Golf Club
Played On 12/17/2021Anderson Creek Golf Club
Played On 09/13/2021Great course, hardly anyone playing too, which was strange..
A great course, not very easy, but in excellent condition with fairly new greens that rolled true and fast. Played on a Monday and the turnout was very light. 3.5 hour round and playing in no rush.
The Neuse Golf Club
Played On 06/06/2017Greens are being rebuilt
There is no advisory on golfnow, but the greens are being changed from bentgrass to mini-verde. There are temporary greens with 8" cups, but it's not great. The fairways are nice though. Not sure how long it will be until the greens are playable.
River Ridge Golf Club

Awesome course in great condition. The new greens are very fast.
The Golf Club at Chapel Ridge
Played On 05/23/2015This course is usually in better condition
Greens are in good shape, but the fairways and tee boxes are dead. Must have had trouble with the winter weather.
Keith Hills Golf Club - White Course
Played On 11/22/2013best deal on golfnow.com
Great course and super inexpensive when booked on golfnow.com. They have 27 holes and have recently redone the greens on the original 18. Local College training course that is always in good condition.
Little River Golf & Resort
Played On 8/28/2013Great course near Pinehurst
They had just aerated and sanded the greens, so the price was super cheap and there were not many people playing. Little River is a great course and was in excellent condition other than having to put up with the inconsistency of the sandy greens. Our group played 18 holes in under 3.5 hours, which is not normal for this usually busy course.
Palmer at Woodlake Country Club
Played On 1/29/2013A challenging course just outside of Pinehurst
Normally a $45-50 green fee course about an hour south of Raleigh, NC. Through GolfNow.com, we booked a tee time for only $17 per player.....an awesome bargain. Course was in pretty good shape considering it had rained and sleeted 2 days prior. Woodlake is sort of like a retirement community with two 18-hole courses. We player the Maples course. The Palmer course was closed for some renovations to the greens.
Eagle Ridge Golf Club
Played On 1/10/2012Got a smokin' deal thru golfnow.com for $17
Played on a Thurday in January, 65 degrees out, shorts and short sleeve shirt....booked a 1:20 tee time online just an hour in advance.....course was wide open, which was a pleasant surprise....very few players on course. Myself and a friend played the course in 3 hours and 15 minutes, and didn't think we were playing that fast. A great day on a great course.
Thank you for your kind words! We hope to see you again at the course very soon for another 5-star experience. Thanks for choosing Eagle Ridge Golf Club.
We’re sorry to hear that your experience at our facility, but like many of the other golf courses in the area we have experienced winterkill. Winterkill is the result of very low temperatures experienced in late winter. The damage of direct low temperature kill occurs most commonly during periods of alternating freezing and thawing, aggravated by the increase in plant moisture when the turf is most vulnerable in late winter. This, coupled with sudden drops in cold temperatures creates a perfect storm for winterkill. Our solution over the next couple of weeks, we will be aerifying and fertilizing the fairways to get them back in the best condition possible. We ask all golfers for their understanding and patience, as this will be a summer of repair and recovery.
We hope to see you again at our facility as our playing conditions improve!!!
