Older course. Greens good. Staff great! Public course. Nice layout. Good mix of challenging and easy holes. Great that Tampa honors Babe. Wish they would put more money into the course. Would play again!

Have played here before. Some really tough holes. Sometimes paces is slow. Wish there was a ranger. Would play there more but they have jumped prices too much. Like playing here.

We quit after 16 holes because we were already way over a 4 hr round. Got started relatively on time but play slowed to a crawl after 3-4 holes. Leaves were not blown off the course. Would not play here in the fall or a weekend.

Greens were excellent. Better than Vic Hills or place played near Sarasota. Pace was great—under 4 hrs

Greens got frosted out about 4 weeks ago, but they are much better now. Pace was good, just ver 4 hrs.

Have play this course in the past and it has been great…it is a tough course. But many greens had been beat up by frost and were kind of non existent. I have seen this entire course look much better, from fairways to greens (I know course management has not much control over weather) Staff is friendly from cart guys on. And the course is a fun course to play…just wish it was better groomed and the scheduling app noted the greens conditions

Tricky course, looks wide open then either arrows or pins are tucked away. Fun to play.

There was a junior event before us and there were not carts ready to go out. Once out, nice day. Tough course. Great layout. Will play again.

Course greens in better shape than last winter. Most outstanding was the pace of play—4 hrs on the dot!

I love playing this course. It is good value for the money. But this year and particularly yesterday the play was too slow….over 5 hrs. The previous 3 times in the last month I have played here the tee times were a little late and play was 4.5 hrs but a fairly sealable 4.5 hrs. Yesterday, there was a group of men who travel from course to course that had booked 4 tee times and 6 groups showed up. Someone made the decision to let them out. My tee time was 12:32. Didnt tee off until almost 1. Stuck in a twosome. And did not get off course until 5:45.
Yes, it was a holiday. Yes, courses need to make money. But maybe tee times need to be a little spacious to accommodate use of the facility

Play this course often. Not particularly over all hard, but some really challenging holes and nice layout. Fairways were dry, greens about the same for this course. Nice to,see a ranger out there, but not sure he was much help. Round took almost 5 hrs this hot windy Friday.

There are times I have played and felt that the course had been over played and tired. The up keep in the last 2 weeks has made a huge difference. The fairways are green, well watered. Greens in good shape. Pace of play was good. Staff is really friendly. They always have a starter during peak hours to keep things rolling. The only drawback is that there have been a few times I wished there was a ranger. Play Eagle Dunes frequently because it is a fun course and the staff are great.

Have played course before. Today the pace of play was incredibly slow. No ranger on course to speed play. We never finished play because by the time we got to 18 (par 3 women, par 4 men with a pond) there was a group on the green, one group all over the second shot area driving around looking for balls on an easy tee shot hole, and a group waiting. We would have been the second group waiting. We waited on every single hole.
The kicker was at the end when we spoke to staff about the play and wish for a ranger, we were told the owner was on the course. If s/he was, that person did not say anything to any of the groups in our vision. The person was rudely telling us it was not the courses fault if everyone wanted to play with a special or coupon rate. It is the courses fault to not keep play moving. It is the courses fault to schedule tee times too close.
Black Bear is a hard course and I like the challenge. But won't be going back any time soon due to the rudeness of the staff at the end of the round.

RedTail is a beautiful central Florida course that winds it's way through a residential community. The front 9 starts off with challenging par 4's and 5. The back 9 Is showcased with four holes that surround a wildlife refuge lake.
Greens are tough. Fairways is good shape. Enjoy playing this course.

Great course. One of my FL favorites. Staff is nice and friendly. Course is good shape. Seems they have slowed up on building around it, so that the homes are not imposing. (Liked it better when the pro shop was where the lounge is)

I play here often in the winter. The staff is great, course layout interesting mix of easy, hard, well defended and challenging holes. Generally they have a starter that keeps play going. Clubhouse easily accessed. Nothing fancy, but who cares when the golf course is pretty good.

Puakea is a beautiful course on Kauai. The views are exquisite. Nice layout. Some very challenging holes that are well defended as well as some beautiful par 3’s. Wished I lived closer (am in NY!)

Starts off with a good warm up par 5. Fun layout with a mix of hard and easy holes. Finishes up with a long par 5 with an elevated green. Lots of roll. Tough greens. Love this course, play it often when in the area. Good value for the money.

I play this course often in the winter. Layout good. Greens tricky, fast. Staff here is fabulous. They pair me with good groups, are friendly, helpful, efficient. Call this my southern course

I play Eagle Dunes often in the winter time when I’m in Florida. The course layout is nice and you were never in a shooting gallery. The tee boxes are generally in good shape, the greens are fast. What I like most about Eagle Dunes is that the staff is fabulous. There is a starter available most of the time and keeps things moving right off the first tee. Frequently there is a Ranger that will come around on the course to make sure things are moving and there are no issues. I often play as a solo player and get signed up with other groups and the starter makes sure that I am in a group that is amiable and that I feel safe with being a woman playing with a group of men.
