Very Nice Michigan Course

There is a little bit of everything. Some water, plenty of sand traps, holes that demand tee shots be in the fairway, holes that require strategy and holes that play longer than advertised. The greens are usually in good shape. The tee boxes sometimes need a little work. Overall we like the course and will play it many times from mid May to mid September.

Excellent conditions

The course is very well maintained. Beautiful fairways and smooth greens. Some long par fours. Owners and staff are obviously working very hard to improve playing conditions to make the experience a good one.

Diamond Springs truly a diamond in the rough !

The course is fair, however there are a few very challenging holes. There are a couple of holes that are borderline, close to being kind of ridiculous. But overall we really like the course, it is always in great condition, and the costs are very reasonable. One or two of the par 4's are a little too long for the average golfer to get on in two shots, but that's true at a lot of courses these days. They don't tend to cater to the average 18 and up handicapper anymore.
For an enjoyable, mixed bag of hole types, Diamond Springs is great.
