Hard to find such a nice, challenging course for such a reasonable price. But CC is fantastic, especially for a 9-hole course. It's in good condition, easily walkable, but most importantly, its layout is really intricate. Downhill lies, uphill lies, holes that go right to left, holes that go left to right, water, tough greens, an easy start on #1, a murderously difficult par-4, a gettable par-5, and a beautiful finishing par-3 9th.

Advice: place once, and learn where to miss;. It'll help you a ton your next time out (which is sure to happen, because you'll love the course and the price.)

The greens here steal the show. They're intricate and fascinating. Bring your best putter!

I walked Florissant Golf Club ... and now my butt is on fire! But I love it. Course is almost as challenging as the walk, and the hills make it extra tough (blind shots, elevation changes, etc.) Staff was EXCELLENT and even in the winter, course and greens were in great shape. For only $15 walking, you won't find a better deal.

Had an unfortunate frost delay before our round, but the staff were VERY friendly and accommodating while we waited. The course was in good shape for almost-November, moved fast, fair greens, and all for $31 on a Saturday morning! Couldn't have asked for much more.

Ravisloe is a great course because it's tricky in all the right places, and is easy to walk, and is well priced and is friendly and .... is just perfect all around. Make this your next round and you won't regret it.

Harborside Starboard is a really nice course and it features some surprisingly gorgeous views of the Chicago skyline! If it's a cold day, beware of the wind though ... it whips in off the lake and the course is unprotected.

We played when they were aerating the greens, so be cognizant of that ... always good to ask in advance. But highly recommend Harborside, given how close it is to the Chicago area

This is a small, par-60 community course, and the price reflects that...which makes it a great deal. On most courses, you'll hit driver-wedge on a lot of holes, but not here. Practically every hole requires a different club off the tee. Also a great course to practice your short-game on. And very close to public transportation from the city.

Come on out and support this community course while working on all aspects of your game!

I loved this course ... it was on the shorter side, but it really made you think about where to miss, where to leave approach shots (above or below the hole, etc.) Had to hit both draws and fades off the tee. A couple good birdie opportunities. Highly recommend!
