Lehigh Resort Club
Played On 03/17/2022Good course although dry
Tough course for an 81 year old senior, the nine holes.incl 3 par fives and longish par threes. But good ball carry on dry fairways. Was teamed up with a one-legged 71 year par golfer, amszing! Hot day, managed only twelve holes. Most greens are good, enjoyed the day. May come back on a cooler day and play from the red tees.
El Rio Golf Club
Played On 03/14/2022Nice executive course
As a single, I was impressed with staff and players alike. The 18 hole course is in good condition and to my chagrin I was able to check out the sugar like sand in several traps. Course was busy but the good pace of play meant only short delays at each tee. Pleasant experience overall.
Pelham Hills Golf & Country Club
Played On 07/07/2018Challenging course but very dry
The cost shown was for 3 of us. The course was dry but we knew this ahead of time. Challenging layout, lots of ditches with water. We booked 18 holes for 3 (walking, all that was offered) players with golfnow at this reasonable cost but decided to upgrade to carts at the last minute because of the heat.. The upgrade cost us a whopping $55 extra; we thought this a bit of a rip-off. We won't be back. There are better courses for the money.
Whiskey Creek Country Club
Played On 03/27/2018pleasant course
Windy but still a good experience, played with 2 other seniors, nice people. Course was relatively lush and only a few areas are drought-affected.. Pace slow, 4 hours for this short course. Well worth the hotdeal price.
