Golf Summerlin - Eagle Crest Course

Sumerlin section of Las Vegas. Had to play very early due to heat. Well worth getting up early.

Had rained the night before so we seniors could not use our carts to get to our golf balls in the fairway which made for long walks between shots. Fairways are wide, greens were in good shape and the view of the Philadelphia skyline is breathtaking. However, the consensus of the group was that the rough was to high and the forced carries over the environmental protected areas was a negative.
Freeway Golf Course
Played On 06/26/2014This course is sand based so it was not was not wet after prior evening showers.
Enjoyable round. Good choice since it had rained the night before but the course was dry.
Eagle's Pointe Golf Club

Enjoyed the setup. The holes that have fairway bunkers on the right make you reconsider hitting a cut shot from the tee. Unfortunately for me, I don't hit a draw so my fade ended up in those bunkers. Course will make you think.
Smart of you to get out here early! It definitely gets toasty here in the summers... We're thrilled that you still loved our course, even during the hottest time of year. Thank you for coming out and playing, please come back soon!
