The Atchafalaya at Idlewild
Played On 05/27/2019Challenging Course
Greens in excellent shape, fast. Had an issue with some bandits (Raccoons) on a couple of the holes. Pace of play little slow but it was a holiday. Stopped for lunch at the turn, food was great. Overall had a great time.
Pelican Point Golf Club - Links Course
Played On 9/23/2013We played the Lakes course and were a little disappointed in the fact that the front nine had been abandoned.
We were forced to play the back nine twice (two sets of tees white & gold). In the past it was an 18 hole golf course. I do not think we will return for future outings.
Abita Springs Golf & Country Club
Played On 8/26/2013The course was a little too wet in places.
The greens were in great condition, putts roll true with some tricky breaks. The area has seen some rain prior to visit but with the exception of two holes we were 90*. Staff friendly. Terrain is hilly with some elevation changes. Will play again and would recommend the course to friends.
Grand Ridge Golf Club
Played On 7/1/2013Have been a member here in the past and the course has gone through some management changes but still needs work.
Former club member. Course has seen a lot of changes in the past seven years and is still in need of work The fairways have several different grasses, when you can find grass. The greens are always slow, much like Velcro. Fairways are tight even after the removal of numerous trees. Staff is friendly.
