It’s a very good course in between par 72s when you want to back off and use your iron, short game practice. I will return soon.

The greens...let me tell you about their greens. You can’t see any read, If you think you do, wait just before the hole here comes the unseen read. There’s no undulating even Superman could see. But they’re there. I love this course.

You betcha we are returning. The course is in perfect condition. Extremely friendly staff. The greens run fast but you can take control of them. Stay on the fairways roughs are tough, gnarly grass and rooty off the fairway. Fairways are perfect. We are returning next week. Might see you there.

More weeds than grass on greens and in fairways. The layout is really fun. Just have to move your ball to get some what of a decent lie.

The fairways are most without grass, patchy to say the least. The greens needs work in the nth degree. The employees need to upgrade their sense of humor and modify their bland demeanor.. what they did for the passed nine months wasn’t a fix to the course. We’ll not return..

The course has its ups and downs, and I mean that humorously. The course has elevations, inclines and rises, fun getting familiar with how to strike an uphill, side slant or downhill. After such a heavy use by the Winter snowbirds the greens will need some TLC is all.
Thanks for your feedback, we appreciate it! We certainly enjoy the elevation in the course as well and plan on keeping it that way. We have identified the stress that the greens have been under and are working towards making them larger and improving their condition. Thanks again for coming, hope to see you shortly! :)

The greens were so battered, tore up and painted green there was no sense bothering to keep a score. Either the snowbirds abused the greens, a bug got into them or just lack of proper maintenance. Won't return this year and if nothing is done to improve the greens, this course is history.

Highs & lows,...I'm meaning elevations. You don't have to drive Brooksville and north to get a rise. We were told the greens were terrible. Well, on the first green I said darn the guy was right. But after that we came across, maybe 3 or 4 needing some TLC. Fairways are typical Florida and the greens are typical Florida after the alien invasion by the snow birds. The greens like the tee boxes need to heal.

Trees trees water more trees. The bunkers are filled with broken shells and pebbles and pieces of limestone.
Sandpiper Golf Club - Lakes/Palms Course
Played On 12/20/2017One ball found
I didn't lose one ball though water came into play a number of times. But as usual to lose a ball in the water it has to be a bad shot and your own fault, except for a few courses I've played and not returned to. Sandpiper I will return to over and over again.
Pebble Creek Golf Club
Played On 09/15/2016Course Conditions
The fairways and greens are kept extremely well. The tee boxes could use a little tender care. The roughs are a 1/4" too tall. It's hard to find your ball. Water is no problem, unless as usual one hits an errant driver.
skip7377,

I was totally embarrassed by the course staff's comments. I was with 2 friends and important clients, I had made tee times for. The first comment was from the starter, who came up to the green we were practicing on, asked what time we teed off. I told him the time and added I made wit through GolfNow. He replied, the course doesn't like GolfNow subscribers and the pro-shop staff will make us wait until the last minute before allowing us to pay, get a cart and fifteens minutes to make it to the tee box. We waited at the desk for over a half an hour and not one golfer had a tee time during that period. At 11:20 we paid, rushed to get a cart, out to the parking lot, grabbed our bags and drove quickly to the first tee box and with no time to get prepared mentally. You won't find us back there...ever.
You are correct, i must’ve played on another cow pasture.
We think you have the wrong course. We have no record of a Skip playing here and no verifiable user by golf advisor. Our fairways are completely full with verY little foreign grass intrusion. As other read comments below this review is contradictory.
