This is a very challenging course...you will lose balls and there are a lot of blind shots around trees. Since they have been bought out by Thunder Valley the staff seems much more friendly. The only bad thing is that they still way overbook. Our round took almost 6 hours today because of how overbooked it was and that was the only reason I didn't give a higher rating because it is always overbooked on weekends.

This used to be a great course, challenging and the best one in the Woodland/Davis area. With better management this course could be great again but it really needs some attention. The fairways and greens have huge dead areas. Having lived in this area my whole life I understand that during the summer it can be hard to keep the greens soft but it seemed like they hadn't been watering at all. Even with that the course itself is nice but the staff is rude. Our cart died on the first hole so we called and they brought out one of the old gas powered ones so we wouldn't have to worry about the battery dying again. The problem then was the exhaust was so bad you could see it coming out and the fumes were making my wife feel sick so at the turn we asked for a cart with a charged battery and when I told the man in the pro shop all of this he did not even apologize or anything. He just said "Yeah that's all we have".

With better management I really think this course could be great again but I won't be going back for a while.

This is one of my favorite courses. The course is very well maintained and the staff is always friendly. It is challenging which can lead to a slow pace a play but it is a very enjoyable course.

This is a nice course but it was pretty dry and had some dead spots.

I've played here many times and keep coming back because this is one of my favorite courses. The course is very well maintained with some challenging holes.

This is a very nice course and the 18th hole is a nice drop over the water.

Cherry Island is a fun course with a few challenging holes...some of the fairways make sharp turns where your hitting over large areas of bushes or water.

This is a beautiful course. It used to be a private country club but opens tee times to the public now.

Fun course but pretty easy...good if you just want to relax and play without a lot of challenges.

Average course that can be fun but nothing really special or challenging about it.

Okay course and fun to play if you like playing a variety of places but there are better courses within a couple miles.

Course seems pretty average for the area. Everything was muddy but that was because it had just rained the night before.

Only paid $10 to play and even at that price I wouldn't go back. The fairways are horrible and there are much better places to play for the money.

Pretty average for an express 9...nothing special but I'd probably play again if I was looking for a short round.

One of the best courses in the area for the money.
