Greendale Golf Course
Played On 09/03/2022Not worth the dough!
From tee to green here you go.
Tee boxes are grassy which makes like playing from the rough. Fairways are acceptable but a mixture of crab grass and grass makes them inconsistent to play. The greens play like Laurel Hills fairways. With aeration, fluffy, and dead patches all greens are unplayable. Recommend Fairfax county closes the course for the winter for a total rehabilitation.

Played On 11/28/2020Golf rate and pace of play
Penderbrook is a $50-60 course max! Coupled with the very slow pace of slow it’s difficult to find a rhythm in the round. Additionally, I recommend placing fairway barber poles on 11, 12, 17, and 18 so golfers no where the 250 or 150 marks are located. This could increase the pace of play as golfers would choose the rate club selection.

Played On 11/21/2020Very Fast Green
This course has made major improvements and the green are super quick. When I say quick.....almost unplayable quick running at least on my machine made meter reader.
We appreciate your feedback, and thanks for coming out to the course!
Pohick Bay Golf Course
Played On 06/25/2020Tee Times and Carts
Not enough carts which caused a delay from designated tee times. During the delay the starter let three walkers and one rider go out nearly 40 mins prior to their designated tee time which caused a ripple in wait times on every tee box.
Very unprofessional on the starters part to squeeze in regulars prior to their tee time. Respect the players that reserved tees!
Thank you for your feedback. We take your opinion seriously, and are working everyday to improve customer experience.
Greendale Golf Course
Played On 06/14/2020An Easy Walking Course
An easy Sunday walking course. This course has come along way. A very tight straight forward course. Golfers should play the tees suitable to their handicap. Most players select the White tees one forward from the Championship tees; however, most should play from the yellows based on their handicap and course rating.

Played On 05/31/2020A great course for straight and long hitters. Two groups in front of our foursome was 2-3 holes back the entire day which made it a 5 hour round for a <6500 yard course. However, the best greens in Fairfax County too include the some private course in which I play.
Thank you for visiting us at Penderbrook Golf Club. We appreciate your 4-star rating and review. We hope you join us for another round soon.
Broad Run Golf & Practice Facility
Played On 04/22/2020A Great Course
A great 9- hole course! If you want 18 holes in under 4 hours don’t go here. This course is beginner friendly and if want 18 holes in four hours this course is not for you. There is not a Marshall to determine who has priority gong back around (golfers starting on one or golfers making the turn). This slows the pace of play considerably. I recommend play nine and then 1-2 hours at their great practice facilities.
Thank you so much for your review 5-star ! We are happy to hear you enjoyed our course. We value your feedback, and hope to see you back in the future.
Old Orchard Country Club
Played On 01/16/2017Desperate Golfers
If it wasn't for Golf Now pricing under $20.....I wouldn't golf here. The tee boxes are like the rough at most courses. The drainage needs work and so most bunkers have water in them. The bunkers that don't have water are not raked. Patrons have zero respect on how they leave this course and it would help if the course had Rangers/Marshals. It's difficult to imagine it takes over four hours to play this short course. Be careful of rotting trees......a falling limb almost hit a playing companion. This course could be premier with a little TLC.
