Great round. Snagged a "Hot Deal" solo round booking a day before in my email inbox. $14 for 18 holes walking... forget booking this course walking unless you play the original front 9. It would annihilate a marathon runner humping the back 9. Added the cart for 16 so ended up being a great value considering the 11:30 tee time. The course is in fantastic condition at the moment, best I have ever seen it. It played very well, greens were quite slick. There was literally no pressure, nobody 3 holes ahead or behind me. This allowed for a relaxing round.

Many sections of fairways were browned and dead. When I asked about it I was told there was a weedkiller application "mishap" . Greens in good condition overall but many are way too hard. A sky high shot onto the green should be rewarded with more than a skip off. There were also a few areas around green fringe I would label ground under repair that were so soggy and mushy a couple of my approaches perfectly placed to release onto the green ended up plugging .Putting surface was very fast and smooth. Some new tee areas look great. I think once the kilt grass recovers and other early season issues are conditioned, it will be much better. My round was a great value @ $22 for 18 holes with a lower cart booked at 1pm on a Friday I had one play thru (i was single) and No delays after completing 18 in under 4 hrs time.
