Had a great round - course was well laid out, enough of a challenge for a low handicapper yet still sufficiently forgiving for that errant shot.
Best part, however, was the pro-shop staff! They were simply amazing, friendly, and genuinely helpful!
West at Jacaranda Golf Club

Second time on the west course - great track, tees played increase the challenge, beautiful course and a great staff all the way around, The ding, and why I didn’t rate higher, is that it would have been nice to know that the greens had recently been aerated and sanded.. the two putt rule in place.

Great track and great conditions!! Greens had just been sanded (?), a key piece of info to know in advance!! That said., great conditions nevertheless! In 3-5 years, and once they finish building, likely to be one of the prime tracks in sw fl!
Nice round - great course!
Course, staff, superb! Off course amenities - food and beverages - for a hyatt property disappointing. The turn restaurant... truly disappointing, the restaurant ... closed at 1500.. so a little disappointed that I had to leave hungry..
Rattlewood Golf Course

For just having finished an awful winter the course itself was in decent shape. Pro shop, practice facility (such as it is) remains poor. Won't talk about bar, dining... Not open and still being rennovated? Paint can on the bar.
Black Rock Golf Course

The only, and I mean only ding would the the condition of the bunkers -unfortunately unplayable. But the rest of the course, to include the recently aerated greens, superb. In short, go play it!!!

Overall an ok course. Bunkers and greens are awful but they're working on both. As for the greens, didn't help that some local wingnut decided to go 4-wheeling on a number of the greens.. But that's the least of the ground crew's problems - between 4-wheeler, aeration, and some sort of fungus... Well the greens are in big trouble for late July... Upside, it's better that Rattlewood.

This is likely one of the best public courses around. Course is superbly maintained, staff is friendly and accommodating, and the pace of play - even on the weekend - is not unreasonable.
