Played here a few times amazed that it is not busier. Managed to score a Hot Deal! The course was in great shape, fairways, sand and greens. Enjoy the course as I seem to shoot a decent score here. The fairways must be wide enough to keep my fade in bounds! They do have what I consider to be alot of 'blind' tee shots, i suppose that the topography, on the side of a mountain, in a subdivision has a lot to contribute to that. Will be back again!

A cart is a definate requirement for many! The course is built on the side of a mountain and many holes are up and or down it.. True to its name there are many "Granite" boulders scattered throughout the course. The fairways and rough was very lush and made fairway shots a pleasure. The greens on the other hand were very fast even though there seemed to be a lot of "winter kill" still evident. Overall it was an enjoyable round with a few good shots and new memories made.

It was quite windy today which made for an interesting day. The course would best be described as "rustic" they definitely could use some turf maintenance! I last played it a year ago and then they said they were making improvements... well I didn't notice any change!! It is a decent value if you get a "Hot Deal" otherwise I would pass... The staff were friendly and I managed to get out early.

Hit some awesome shots hit some not so awesome shots. Great company with snowbird friends and I even managed a 3 shot "gross" win over my lower indexed friend :) The golf course is not for the feint of heart as it has many elevation changes uphill, downhill, across "canyons" and beside hazards and plenty of sand for all beach lovers :P The staff in the pro shop, cart shack, starters, cart "girls' and clubhouse were all friendly and attentive!

The Dog legs all seemed to go to the left...which doesn't work so well with my fade (slice). Other than that the layout was ok no major hazards, lakes, gullies, etc to hinder play. As others have pointed out the cource seems to have a lot of bare spots and they could definately add some sand to the "gravel" traps. The greens although relatively small were consistent and putts rolled well.

I have played this course at least once annually while staying in Palm Springs for the winter. The cost is very reasonable and I have never had difficulty securing a tee time, mid week. I had heard that the wind can make it challenging and well that is definitely true, about a 2-3 club wind kept the game interesting!

A jewel in an unsuspecting area! A wonderful sup rice very nice facility, the round took 4 hour 20 minutes they suggest 4 hours 15 minutes... so a thumbs up!

The only weird thing is the hmmm lack of friendliness of the patrons. Again I was a single following a threesome.... following a foursome...we were backed up on most tee boxes. You would think a "why don't you join us" would be offered. Not in Oregon it seems!

Game wasn't so great but he group I was with were and the course was in great shape. The weather was in the mid 80's ...

5 plus hours, your kidding right, wrong...no marshals to speed things up, people behind us skipped last hole and passed 3 groups :( There was an extremely slow group ahead of a 2 some ahead of us, also a 2 some. You think they would have asked us to join them... lol NOT! My playing partner, and Oregonian said that they were unfriendly in Oregon, apparently true. As the "home of Amateur Golf" in Oregon I think you better work on your teaching skills. I was sorrily disappointed after a very good first experience one year ago. Sorry but won't be back and will let all my golf buds know.
