A fun layout, conditions were excellent. The Bermuda greens may have been a little slow but rolled true. The perk of on course refreshments was an appreciated bonus.

Second visit to course. Enjoyed the course again. Fun layout, can be challenging and course in fine condition. Had a 9:20am tee time on a Saturday and pace of play was painfully slow-5+ hour round

Nice course/layout. Generous fairways. Water in play on many holes. Fairways and greens in good condition. Both fairly fast.

Played early joining a twosome (maybe 8th group off). Pace of play was awful for that early. Course was in great shape, tees, fairways and greens very green and healthy. Greens rolled great. Not the most difficult course but very enjoyable except for the pace of play.

Played early and flew around as a threesome. Course was in great condition and it is a fun and challenging layout. Greens were nice except there were multiple (maybe three per green) plastic covers covering "alternate" holes that we were told were rotated pin placements for subsequent days. Thankfully we were lucky enough not to have them affect our putting lines.
Nice facilities and course overall.

Really enjoyed the course. Scenic and very nice layout. Holes #10 and #18 really standout. Fairways generous with consistent mounding adjacent to the fairways to help keep you in play. Greens rolled great-fast and sometimes difficult to read due to the valley. Would love to come back.

Recent trip to Scottsdale hoping to play TPC Stadium course was derailed by poor timing and research on my part as it was being over-seeded and closed for play. Played the Champions course instead as it was recently re-opened after over-seeding. It was only a "slight" disappointment as the course was in very nice shape, the greens rolled true but were a little slow, and a real fun layout. We had an early morning Saturday tee time and pace of play was great-finishing in 4hrs even though it was cart path only due to the over-seeding. Will definitely play again.

Chose Troon due to staff assurances that the course was in good condition. The course was recently reopened after over-seeding (Pinnacle course as well as many other local courses were closed for over-seeding) and couldn't appreciate their honesty more. If you are going to pay premium fees to play a course like Troon North you want to enjoy it. Unlike other experiences where you feel misled by staff to simply secure your business, the staff were right on with their assessment. The tees and fairways were in very nice shape and the greens rolled true and faster than I expected. We were warned about the "battle" they are having with players not fixing their ball marks on the greens and this was the only drawback-through no fault of the Troon staff. Great fun to play and the layout and views are special. Looking forward to coming back.

Our group typically finishes our trip to Orlando playing here before flying home. Staff is great, course is fun to play with some variety if played from the proper tees. The greens were very nice, bunkers recently re-done.
A decent value

Enjoyed the course and layout. Greens were great-smooth and rolled quick and true. Would like to play again as some local knowledge will go a long way

Highlands is a great value and the staff are great. Limited food and bar but adequate and the staff behind the counter hustles. The greens were the best we have seen them and the tees and fairways were fine-some dry areas. Morning round pace was great-afternoon round was held up by a foursome that the staff tried to move along without success.
This course is a nice kickoff for our trip to Orlando

The highlight of our recent trip to Orlando was 18 holes at Southern Dunes. Course is a great layout with fairly generous fairways, variety of approach shots and the best greens we putted on all weekend. Highly recommended.

Played early on Sat.-first off-and played in just under 3hrs. Course gets busy later in morning.
Very nice layout and conditions were very good. Fairways run very fast and course may play an little shorter than yardage on a calm day. Wind may certainly add length. Greens showed a little more play and were a little slower than some of the higher end courses played but still rolled fine. Looking forward to playing again.

Played Ironwood and Acacia courses early (first tee time) as a foursome played front in less than 2hrs-because of cross over with three 9 holes courses or maybe because they didn't expect us to make the turn so quickly a slower group was put out in front of us on the back. Still played the back in 2:20hr. Resort courses with likely a good dose of corporate play as the resort hosts many larger corporate meetings.
The courses were fantastic with unbelievable greens.
Can't wait to play again.

South Course is beautiful with photo op type holes. Fairways and greens were in excellent condition. Greens rolled at about a 10+ and true. Was told by staff leaving cart area to "keep driver in the bag" and should have listened. Fairways are generous enough but not having played the course before and not accounting for how fast the fairways were running lost balls hitting in the wrong places.
Played early and pace of play was great...only slowed by looking in the desert scrub areas for misplaced drives.

Course very close to MCO making it a perfect finish to your trip before flying home. Course in good condition, greens were nice and rolled true. A good layout with some variety.

The course was in great shape:greens and fairways. Some really good holes and a couple really difficult holes (#7 and #14).
We will definitely be back next spring.

A very reasonably priced course with elevation changes, short and long Par 3s, 4s and 5s. Greens excellent and fairways a little spotty. Play early as our early am round 3 3/4 hrs. Afternoon round (1pm) closer to 5hrs.
