Played based on the reviews on GN. Staff super friendly, didn’t stick around after for a drink so can comment on that. The POP was good until the last 4 holes but we hooked up with a single and had a nice final 4 holes. Rangers was around but we didn’t really need him as we combined our group’s (guy behind us didn’t want to join us for 18 but he seemed nice) The course has some decent holes. It’s shortish but green were rolling pretty good. Lots of ball marks and golfers continually fix them wrong. Glad I played it and might go back when I am back in the area but I would recommend the course. Oh they have a water range with grass but didn’t use it.

Great course and very good conditions. Greens rolled true and the speed was good. Staff was friendly. Nice range and practice green. We will be back.

We have played the Jones a few times and I have never written a review. The course was in fantastic shape from tee to green. The greens were rolling tru and fast And were just a pleasure to putt on. We got there early to warm up at the fantastic practice facility. If I lived in Florida my wife and I would join. The staff, from outside to inside, were terrific. My wife and I were the first group behind a women’s pro golf tournament for 9 holes and we had to wait as we were a 2some but we still finished at 4 hours, and it was a pleasure to watch that level of golf! A drink in the bar after then headed for the airport.

Played here for years, sad that this course is in such decline with a championship layout. Fairways we bad in spots, tee boxes - some ok some were a mess the greens were ok but golfers need to take it upon themselves to fix ball marks. Bunkers look very unkept. Staff is friendly and the Proshop location is a joke!! I was in golf for 10 years as a GM and it is obvious this course needs a lot of help. I’ve played for years but won’t go back until I see some improvements. Sorry this course used to be my 1st choice!

Staff was friendly and helpful for first time playing. Green were deceptively fast. Conditions were good. Just wish I knew the course better. Range is ok. Price was good and Overall worth it. I guess they have hosted pga and lpga tournament.

Visiting from NJ and my buddy took us to the gem and it is fantastic! We pkayed it 3x's. There was really was nothing to complain about but if there is anything then there are lots and lots of bunkers and some just don't make sense, and some weren't well maintained, however, from what I understand the course is going to perform some renovations and a lot of the sand bunkers will now be grass bunkers. Bunkers cost a lot to maintain and the course will look and play better when completed, but still very playable. Call proshop for details Good POP, greens were excellent, staff is super freindly and we had a great time. If I lived in the area I would join... give it a go.

Great course, well maintained and staff is freindly. Food ia pretty good as well. Played here about a half a dozen times and have never been disappointed with the aforementioned. The only negative to this round was it took 5:07 to play, not really waiting on every shot but we all know the deal with golfers and pace-of-play issues and what WE all can do to play faster. I travel about 1.5 hrs to play here so as the title states I wish it was closer as I love the pine trees, natural sand areas and the Carolina feel. I'll be back and I recommend playing here.

1st time there and love the layout! very challenging and greens have some humps in them. already aerated and recovering, no problems or complaints about the greens. fairways were recently core aerified which stinks but you can just move your ball (its legal!) and play on. I would like to play the course again when it has fully comeback. It's a great track and I got a good price. golf course staff was very friendly as was the restaurant staff. I had lunch which was good and the beer was very cold!!!! check with the bartender about the alcohol policy as it is a little weird, you need to be a member to order but its only $1 and it good for life. all in all good day and I will be back.....

Have played here many time and it's always been in fine shape. The greens were great yesterday, they have a 2 day FSGA tournament going on this weekend and maybe that had something to do with but regardless the greens were running very quick and true. Fairways are in good shape and tee boxes are generally good but some need TLC. The golf staff is great ans is the food staff. Never been disappointed in the food and I recommend some libations in the bar after. My wife and I played with a mother/daughter team and it was just a fun day, they possessed great golf etiquette which was nice to play with golfers like that. Although the pace is usually very good there were a lot of golfers on the course and it was a 5 hour round. NOT the norm as I understand there was a group booking and tournament players on course also. Overall we will be back and I highly recommend this course!

there is water on nearly 14 holes, 9 par 3's and greens with alot if undulation. you need to play well to score well. give it a try you wont be disappointed! staff very friendly! Oh and the course rating is incorrect, from the blue tees its 63.9/111, not 98

So we tried playing this course again and again after 4 hrs we were not nearly finished still had 5+ holes to play. We let a twosome play though, then came up a few holes later to a different 3some in front of us, then about 2 holes later found ourselves behind yet another group. I think the issue with this course is everyone bounces around and skips holes as well as you have members who live close and jump in where they feel they can. There is no ranger keeping track of groups and making sure they are in proper position. Great, challenging course if you can deal with the delays and issues you may run into while playing.

Great course! It is long but with a variety of tee options there is a length for everyone. I thought the par 3's were great and a very good challenge as we're the rest of the holes! Can't say enough good things about the staff, very friendly from when we arrived until we left. Course was in very good shape and green were smooth and rolling very nicely (I would say close to am 11 on the stimp). Practice area is grass with a small short game green and bunker as well as a large putting green to warmup, they even have a short game range with targets. Good selection in the shop. With a course like this they need a club house that compliments it but I guess that is coming eventually and what they have serves a purpose now. I will be back! Beer was ICE cold :)

Very friendly staff! Course was great! Only played 14 holes as we teed off around 2 but we knew we might not finish. Greens were pretty quick, the course is challenging and was in great shape. Nice driving range to warmup and you can see and hear some of the Disney attractions but it wasn't that much of a nuisance. For a resort course it wasn't a bad expierence like we have had at other resort courses.

Have family in V. H. so we play here a few times when we visit. We love the course and it has been in very good condition every time we Play. It is a challenge. There are a lot of bunkers and greens can be tricky!! Staff is very friendly and see Chad after your round in Mulligan's he's a great guy and knows the local scene. My only gripe is that we had 10 golfers booked at our tee time and they sent out 2 groups in front if us, not the end of the world, but when in the pro shop we overhead one if the pros/staff (not the head pro, Jeff?, he seems very professional) tell his starter to tell them we are 5 minutes behind! I'm in golf.. Wrong answer!!

. A very good challenge from the back tees but if you need to play up a set of tees or 2 it is still a challenge! The problem with resort courses is that you might get stuck behind a 6some like we did. The pace was good but no ranger they leave that up to you and it seems that all golf etiquette is thrown out the window at a resort course. Very frustrating! I would recommend but I'm not going back.
