Desert Dunes Golf Course
Played On 02/10/2020Excellent layout but needs some tlc
Absolutely love this golf course layout. It only suffers from two things. First is a bit more tic on the fairways which are not cut often enough or fertilized. The second is a bit more sand in the bunkers which is too thin in spots and means you will blade the ball rather then getting underneath it. But the layout is brilliant, challenging and on windy days you don't need to travel to Scotland. Also as a Canadian I make a point of playing it every time I'm in Palm Springs. Know that tic costs money which is no doubt the reason it's not rated 5 star.

Ledgeview Golf and Country Club
Played On 02/15/2015Sloppy in February
This is an excellent course during the dry periods in BC, but it can get very sloppy when conditions are wet. Although appearing now to be too long, the course plays uphill on many holes and if the ball is not placed properly your next shot will be very challenging.
Nevertheless it was good value on golfnow. Be warned this course can be a tough walk and especially so in soggy conditions.
Indian Canyons Golf Resort - North Course
Played On 01/07/2015Perfect for Couples golf
This is a traditional layout with fairly flat ground and not too difficult a layout. It is perfect for couples golf in that it is not overly difficult for the less experienced golfer but offers enough challenges for low handicappers so you will feel it was worth the expenditure.
this course is especially good as a warm up course especially if you haven't swung a club for some time and need to find you swing before tackling the more difficult tracks in Palm Springs.
Westin Rancho Mirage Golf Resort & Spa - Pete Dye Resort Course
Played On 12/21/2014Great Course For Couples
This is not a terribly difficult course, in fact it is very forgiving on most holes with a few exceptions. It is flat and an easy walk for most and the undulating fairways are reasonable. Greens are not hard to read.
This is a perfect course for couples, especially if your significant other is not as accomplished as you. I am planning to take my girlfriend there for a round after Christmas. The Golds are fine for handicaps 8-14 but if you are less than 8 play from the tips. The course is not too long.
Dear u000005788247,
It is great to hear that your round went well. As a resort facility, it is always nice to hear that the golf course plays well for families and couples. We look forward to seeing you again.
Have a great holiday,

Golf Club At Terra Lago - South Course
Played On 12/18/2014Parts of the course are still in very tough shape
The greens and most fairways are fine but many of the bunkers are in poor shape and several fairways were in dire need of tlc. I would still play the course but it is not worth more than $45 on GOLFNOW.
PGA WEST Greg Norman Course
Played On 12/15/2014Terrible Greens
There is virtually no green grass on the greens. It was killed off by a chemical mishap. It was like putting on hard clay not greens. Clubhouse does not tell you that when you book. I won't go back again.
Desert Dunes Golf Course
Played On 12/16/2012Excellent Course
The course is very good and highly recommended but the staff need a course in how to treat customers. Fellow that greats you in the Clubhouse was not prepared to get our group off early even though the course was not booked solid and there were open tee times ahead of ours just because we booked thru GOLF NOW at a discounted rate. I had to grovel with the pro. We didn't realize there is some animosity with Golf Now rates and didn't mean to take advantage of anything. Starter got us off early as there were only 10 cars in the parking lot that day. This incident left a bad taste and was unnecessary. If management doesn't like GolfNow they shouldn't do business with them. Don't blame guests for showing up earlier. Anyway, if you pay full price this shouldn't be an issue only with the discounted rates. Course though is excellent. Cheers!
Valley at Marriott's Desert Springs Resort
Played On 12/11/2012Two very good tracks with challenging finishing holes
The Valley course has hard greens because they are newly built but were in perfect condition and rolling about 11. The Palm Course greens hold the ball better and it is a nice compliment to the Valley. Both courses are worth playing. Staff a extremely friendly. Only downside is that play is slow and course marshalls do not move slow players along. Expect a 5 hr round, which is unnecessary given everyone is in carts.
Thank you for your review, u000005788247. We will pass along your positive experience to our team at Desert Dunes Golf Course. We look forward to seeing you again soon.
