Majestic Springs Golf Course
Played On 03/21/2024Golden!
Wow! Staff here is top notch. They welcomed me at 4:20 pm on a Thursday. 18 holes + cart + 2 beers for under $50 yes please! The course conditions were ideal. I played as a single and finished easily at 6:55 with over an hour of daylight to spare. The layout of the course is both challenging and rewarding at the same time. Well maintained and very scenic track. Worth the drive. Carts have GPS and layout which is important as some holes have hidden creeks running through the fairways so watch out on hole 2! Greens are well kept and at normal putting speed not fast or slow. Beer is only $4.50 ! If I lived nearby I would be a regular. Don’t miss this course! 5 stars all around!
Chula Vista Golf Course
Played On 01/01/2020Great Value
Course is very green right now and in good solid shape. Best value anywhere in San Diego County. Pace of play here all depends on if the group in front of you can play golf or not so it's a crapshoot but the staff are super friendly and the price is right so get out there and play. Cheers!
Kiahuna Golf Club
Played On 10/07/2019Perfect place to golf in Kaua’i
You have to play here! Course conditions are perfect, staff is friendly, breakfast is affordable and very tasty, club rentals are brand new Calaways with oddessy putter, and the views are spectacular! Played here 4 years ago and the course wasn’t as well kept as it is now. This course has the most bang for your golf buck in Kaua’i! Course is just challenging enough without being too difficult. I bought 2 IPAs at the turn and they were only $4 each! Carts have GPS and they give you a cool mint towel at the end of the round. A very nice touch. Play here now! Cheers
North at Admiral Baker Golf Course
Played On 09/29/2019The North course is in top shape!
So I have played the South course many times but this was my first time playing the North course. What a difference. Play the North if you get to choose. Very well laid out with smooth greens and quality fairways and tee boxes. Make sure you warm up/stretch as they start you off with a Par 5. We teed off at 3pm and got 15 holes in before dark (6:34 sunset) all for only $25 with cart on a freakin Sunday!!! Amazing time. I will be back....probably this weekend :)
Wow, we are so happy you enjoyed your round, markmorgan! We look forward to seeing you again soon.

Singing Hills Golf Resort at Sycuan - Oak Glen
Played On 01/02/2018Majestic Oak Glen!!!
Oak Glen at Sycuan might just be the best course in San Diego County! The greens are true (not fast and not slow) and the conditions here are perfect. The food on and off the course is great and they don't charge an arm and a leg for beer. Great beer selection as well.....on to the actual course.....
The trick to scoring well on this course is to warm up first so you can score well on holes 1-4. Hole 5 is a monster par 4 over a dry riverbed that requires a 250 yard straight drive to have a chance at the green in 2. Hole 7 is a short par 5 but has a very challenging tee shot (hit a high driver or 3 wood over the trees in front of you) and you are on your way to par....miss the drive and you are in bogeyland. Hole 8 stay to the right side of the fairway. Hole 9 is a challenge if you go right but keep it down the left side of the fairway and enjoy your score. If you can time your round later in the day you will enjoy the serenity of warm late afternoon yellow glow on the back 9. Hole 10 is a long straight par 5 so hopefully your driver has heated up by hole 10. Hole 11 stay left. Hole 12 stay left. Hole 13 hit a 5 iron straight ahead to avoid the water on the left and traps on the right. Hole 14 might be the easiest hole on the course. Hole 15 is a long challenging par 3 so good luck on that one. Hole 16 if you hit it down the left side you shave off 50 yards. Hole 17 you want to favor the left side of the fairway. Hole 18 is a long straight par 5 so keep it straight and you should end with a par. Hole 19 is great too with the food and drinks you would expect from a quality establishment. If the bar is not your style try the restaurant as the food there is top notch for all meals. This resort has the best practice areas in all of San Diego County!!! 5 practice putting greens are scattered throughout the resort as well as 2 bunker practice areas, 2 chipping areas, and a great driving range. The hotel has wonderful rooms and the beds are so comfortable watch out you might miss you tee time. Enjoy this resort as often as you can I know I do. Cheers!
Mission Bay Golf Course
Played On 12/28/2013Golf at night!!!!!
Love this course! I play here almost every Monday night as they have lights on the course (obviously). Greens are good and true. Fairways are well maintained. Rough is sometimes thick but usually just right. Great course to work on your short game and/or iron approach shots off the tee. There are 4 par 4s that some people can reach...eagle putt anyone? When I play I bring my driver, 3 wood, 8, 9 ,P, L, S, and putter. Bring a few extra balls if you play at night. Great course to bring your wife/girlfriend out to play with you. It is not as easy as it looks. I almost parred the course once but shot a 59...usually shoot 60-64. Great range facilities. Walk this course don't waste $ on the cart you won't need it.
Thank you for the great review. We're glad you found Chula Vista Golf Course to be the best value golf course in the area! Be sure to book your next tee time with us soon.
