I personally feel that the course is over priced because it’s not very well maintained. The par 3 tee boxes were chewed up, with no maintenance on the turf. Playing surface outside the fairways are very hard and full of weeds. The Driving range is pathetic tees are the smallest I’ve ever seen in my entire life.
The marketing and advertising is misleading.
It’s not possible for this course to be rated as top 5 in Michigan !!!!.

It’s very apparent that the course is lacking financial support from golfers the conditions have deteriorated from years past

You are mistaken!!!
I agree that it’s a high maintenance property, however it’s my personal experience with golfing in many states you have a great layout but it’s NOT what I expected as far as quality turf grass
We at JF want to assure you that our course is maintained to its best, year after year with its maintenance budget increasing each and every year, all year long. As you may read in many of our other reviews,we receive nothing but complements of course conditions and the surrounding environment. We have been awarded the silver sanctuary award by the Audubon society and continue to improve our relationship with nature, planting additional native plants, conserving water and providing habitat for our local species. Our superintendent, who is considered one of the best in the state of FL, helped build and develop our course into the true hidden gem that it is. We appreciate you playing our course and as always appreciate the feedback.
